歌手背景
Ed Sheeran，1991年2月17日出生於英國英格蘭西約克郡，是大西洋唱片（Atlantic Records）旗下的一位歌手同時也是一位創作人。2011年6月，他的首隻單曲在《The A Team》空降英國單曲榜第三名，同時該單曲在第55屆格萊美頒獎典禮中被提名為年度最佳歌曲。第二張專輯專輯《X》在英國銷售達170萬張。
歌曲背景
英倫才子Ed Sheeran為《指環王》前傳電影《霍比特人2：史矛革荒漠》獻唱片尾曲《I See Fire》，這是Ed時隔兩年之後推出的首支個人單曲，乾淨清脆的吉他配上Ed清泉般的嗓音，為恢弘大氣的故事添上了一層淡淡的憂傷。

(1) soul 譯為：靈魂
