今天（6月25日）上午，2020「同樂江蘇」中國電信「hello 5G」杯金雞湖端午龍舟賽在月光碼頭開賽。為了避免人群聚集，今年比賽在多個線上平臺進行了賽事直播，讓全國各地的觀眾都能「雲上觀賽」。各支隊伍在金雞湖上乘風破浪、競相追逐，盡顯江南溫情與硬核實力相結合的獨特風採。
「Shared Joy in Jiangsu」 & 「Hello 5G」 Cup 11th Suzhou Jinji Lake International Dragon Boat Race 2020 kicked off at SIP’s Moon Harbor (月光碼頭) this morning.
Three teams took the championships after fierce competition in the preliminaries and finals:

A total of 1,168 rowers from 56 teams entered their names for this year’s contest, including 108 participants from six foreign teams. Coming from 15 countries or regions such as France, Germany, Russia, Brazil, etc., all the foreign players have stayed in Suzhou and Jiangsu Province during the COVID-19 pandemic period and are the owners of the Suzhou Health Code and Jiangsu Health Code.
As a model of the friendly cultural exchange between China and other countries, Team Bainiangzi (白娘子隊) , whose members come from all over the world, have taken the initiative to participate in this year’s event together with the Swiss International Dragon Boat Team Suzhou (蘇州瑞士國際龍舟隊) . Although they are different in skin color, language and culture background, all the competitors share the same extraordinary passion towards the rowing competition on the Dragon Boat Festival.
The two teams also wowed us with their energy: Swiss International Dragon Boat Team Suzhou (蘇州瑞士國際龍舟隊) took the third in the 12-person Small Dragon Boat Men’s 300m Race and the Bainiangzi Dragon Boat Team (白娘子龍舟隊) ranked fourth in the 12-person Small Dragon Boat Women’s 300m Race.
To carry out the pandemic prevention and control plan, all the players went through body temperature check, showed Suzhou Health Code (or Jiangsu Health Code) and provided personal travel history for the recent 14 days. The precaution effort was further strengthened by flow-limiting gate machine, anti-fake-ID system and other additional measures.
A facial recognition checking system that integrates various functions like information registration, body temperature check, identity verification, audio broadcast and LED screen display was also activated for the players.
Today’s event was live streamed via such online platforms as Douyin (抖音), Kuaishou (快手), Bilibili (嗶哩嗶哩), iQiyi (愛奇藝), Weibo (新浪微博), Toutiao (今日頭條) and Tencent NOW (騰訊NOW).
Besides, the dragon boat race festivity featured a series of colorful live streaming sessions including 「Cloud Talk on Dragon Boat」, 「International Call to Send Wishes」, experience sharing from doctors who aided in Hubei, Suzhou Red Cross online first-aid training, etc.
To pass on the collaborative spirit of dragon boat racing, the foreign athletes who didn't make it to row in the race joined in the activity through video connection to experience the spectacle and share their feelings for today.
The Chinese-English bilingual commentary specially arranged by the organizing committee this year has communicated the traditional culture of the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival, promoted Chinese and foreign cultural exchange and greatly improved the internationalization level of the game.
