本期小的首飾展邀請的參展人，是獨立首飾品牌「綠場 ODDGREEN」（以下簡稱綠場）的主理人王明雪，這是我們的展覽項目首次嘗試與首飾品牌合作，除了為大家呈現精彩的藝術作品之外，也將會有非常豐富的周邊產品一同展售，不容錯過。

The exhibitor we invited to The Small Jewelry Exhibition this time is Wang Mingxue, the principal of the independent jewelry brand 「ODDGREEN」. This is the first time we attempt to cooperate with an independent jewelry brand in our exhibition history. In addition to marvelous works of art, we will bring along a wealth of peripheral products to the audience as well.

本次展出的新系列作品，由王明雪創作完成於疫情來臨的悠長假期之中。展期由原定的四月被迫延期至今，整個系列也經歷了幾輪的改進與完善。期待大家能夠感受到她的作品撲面而來的新鮮活力，像海風一樣輕拂面頰，為幾個月來的沉悶生活帶來一絲輕鬆和詼諧。

The new series of works to be exhibited were created by Mingxue during the long holiday due to the pandemic; for the same reason, the exhibition schedule has been postponed from April all the way to present. In the meantime, the entire series of works has undergone several rounds of modifications and refinement. We hope that you can feel the fresh vitality burst out from Mingxue’s works, bringing you a touch of relaxation and humor that dusts the gloomy days in the past few months away.

「玉蘭來得快去得也快，

花開得正盛時一陣大風便能剝下她的一瓣，

滿地的玉蘭花瓣是墜落的為倖存的所做的犧牲，

給犧牲者授予玉蘭面具作為她的勳章，

讓她成為玉蘭之靈。」

小的首飾展除了學術之外，有時也想要聊點別的，比如一個首飾專業的學生是如何在學習階段就創建起自己的首飾品牌。既能做自己想做的事情，又能自力更生為自己交學費，也給未來的事業發展打下基礎。這是一個還蠻令人好奇的有趣案例，讓我們湊近一點去了解她。Beyond academics, The Small Jewelry Exhibition sometimes also wants to share some other things with you, such as how a jewelry-majored student could create her own brand in the learning stage, and how this wonderful girl not only managed to do what she liked, but also paid for tuition on herself and laid a foundation for future career development. This is a curious and interesting story, so let’s get closer to know more about her.

「綠場」 是一個野生的首飾品牌，說「野生」是因為它的成長並沒有經過太多的規劃和設計，而走了一條更接地氣的自然生長路線。明雪在念大三的時候剛好參與到首飾專業設立的品牌課程學習，在完成課題的過程中，投入了大量的時間和精力，以至於雖然課程結束了，她卻沒捨得停下來，而是把「作業」一直做了下去，探索創業之路也就從這個時候默默地開始了。由於明雪的首飾作品一直以來都是以亞克力為主要材料進行創作，為了能更精準地操控制作細節，她把市集上的收入用來購進了第一臺二手切割機，和朋友一起開著小卡車從郊區把它拉回來。由此開始，她做到了獨立掌握雷射切割技術，並搭建起自己的小型製作車間。ODDGREEN is a 「wild」 jewelry brand, saying 「wild」 means that the growth and development of this brand has not undergone too much planning or design, but rather taken a grounded natural route. Mingxue happened to take a course on jewelry brand establishment in her third year of study. In the process of completing her 「homework」, she invested so much time and effort that she was unwilling to stop even after the course was over. In such a coincidence, her entrepreneurial experience sailed out. Mingxue’s past jewelry works were largely created with acrylic as the main material. In order to better control the production details, she bought her first second-hand cutting machine with the money earned from street market and vanned it back with her friend. From then on, she learned the skills to operate the laser cutting machine independently and built up her own workshop.

最初見到她的作品是在學校畢業季的跳蚤市集，別人賣閒置物品，她在賣自己的首飾作品。如果你是愛逛市集的人，那麼在北京城的各種商業主題市集上可能都見過王老闆的蹤跡。無論在學校裡還是在社會上，她的攤位始終被女孩們包圍著，她的首飾一直以選擇多樣和高性價比而受到購買者的青睞。作為一個「非常獨立」的獨立品牌，它可能還未做到讓很多人都認識的程度，卻也慢慢積攢了一定的忠實客戶和關注者，她們被稱作「綠場女孩」。The first time I saw Mingxue’s works was at the flea market during the school’s graduation season. While others were selling idle items, she was selling her jewelry. If you are a bazaar, you may have seen Mingxue in various commercial themed markets in Beijing. Whether at school or in the society, her booth is always surrounded by girls, and her jewelry works have always been favored for diverse choices and high cost performance. As a 「very independent」 brand, ODDGREEN may not be known to many people yet, but it has gradually accumulated a batch of loyal customers and followers, to whom, Mingxue is called the 「ODDGREEN girl」.

明雪的作品總是與植物花草密不可分，日常生活中，她習慣隨手拍攝有關花的照片，真花或者假花，都會吸引她的注意力。「綠場」每一季的新品都會有花卉形態出現，這成為了她的標誌。在與明雪溝通的過程中，她對未來有這樣的憧憬：希望有一天能開一家「花店」，會有一支巨大的月季從地面伸向屋頂。Mingxue’s works are inseparable from the themes of plants and flowers. In her daily life, she is easily caught by flowers, real or artificial, and used to taking photos for them casually. Every season of ODDGREEN’s new products would reflect the theme of flower, which has become her hallmark. While communicating with Mingxue, she conveyed a very clear vision for the future: I hope to run a flower shop one day, and there will be a huge rose growing from the ground all the way to the roof.

即將展出的新系列作品幾乎全部以花為靈感而來，它們是首飾也是道具。無論成為魔杖、面具、頭飾或其他形式，作者藉助這些道具，創造出腦中的臆想，將那些神遊中看到的模糊影像呈現在現實之中，裝滿了整棟房子。此次展覽，小的首飾廊就化身為這所現實中的房子， 歡迎來我們的「花房」，嘗試使用這些神奇的道具，經歷一次特別的體驗。

Almost all of the new series of works to be exhibited are inspired by flowers. They are both jewelry works and props. Whether in the form of a wand, mask, headgear, or other objects, Mingxue meant to use these props to materialize the imagination in her mind, to visualize those fancy images seen in the wanderings in reality. During this exhibition, The Closer Gallery will be transformed into a flower house catering these illusions. Welcome to our 「Flower House」 to experience a special adventure with these magical props.

本次展覽開幕的同時，王明雪的講座分享會也將與大家見面。在分享會中，明雪將和大家一起聊聊新作品背後的故事，以及綠場品牌的成長曆程。相信面對面的認識和交流能夠讓你更深層的了解藝術家和她的作品，無論你有任何的好奇和疑問都可以來現場得到解答。
