韓國導演奉俊昊執導的《寄生蟲》一舉奪得最佳影片、最佳導演、最佳國際影片、最佳原創劇本4項重要大獎，成為本屆奧斯卡最大贏家！
該片也成為首部獲得奧斯卡最佳影片的非英語片，創造了歷史。

World War I movie "1917" won three Oscars, for its stunning "one-shot" feel cinematography, for visual effects and for sound editing, while "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" brought the first acting Oscar for Brad Pitt, who played a supporting role as a laid-back stunt man.

講述中國公司福耀玻璃在美國建廠故事的《美國工廠》（American Factory）獲得最佳紀錄長片獎（best documentary）。
「謝謝曹德旺」，《美國工廠》導演Steve Bognar和Julia Reichert用中文表達感謝，並表示：
"Working people have it harder and harder these days—and we believe that things will get better when workers of the world unite."「工人們的境遇越來越難了。我們相信情況會變好，只要全世界工人團結起來。」
目前，本屆奧斯卡獲獎影片中的《小婦人》《婚姻故事》《喬喬的異想世界》《1917》均已公布了引進計劃，但受疫情影響無法在近期與觀眾們見面。
不過據《小婦人》《喬喬的異想世界》的片方最新回應，按照現階段計劃，影片仍會在內地院線上映，但時間無法確定。
