One day, Brahmin Samudraparag had a dream: countless Tathagatas appeared to him,bestowing numerous priceless lotus flowers upon him. Each lotus flower contained a solar wheel encompassing numerous salient umbrellas, where each umbrella is comprised of seven treasures, emitted myriads of brightness into Samudraparag's mouth. His body was like a mirror of thousands of yojanas, vast and pure, on which countless Bodhisattvas sat in padmasana (lotus pose). The dream was rare, auspicious and marvelous.
Samudraparag then dreamed that Chakravartin Aranemi and all his Princes, covered in blood, were running against each other aimlessly, killing and eating living beings and they were killed and eaten by other living beings. In the dream, he also saw another Prince riding a horse adorned with nutmeg flowers and going the wrong way. All of a sudden, Indra manifested himself to Samudraparag and said: "You should give each Prince a lotus flower." As Samudraparag was following the instructions and distributing the lotus flowers to the Princes, he woke up.
Early next morning, Samudraparag came to the Tathagata Ratnagarbha and consulted with him about his dream from last night. The Tathagata said: "The auspicious scene meant that you will benefit innumerable beings and then attain Buddhahood. With regard to Chakravartin Aranemi and all his Princes, the dream implies that despite the fact that they are converted to Buddhism, they will only pursue worldly gains, and they will be reborn in the celestial realms, or they will solely care about their own personal liberation, and they will fall into the stage of the Sravakas (rather than attaining the full realization).
寶藏如來解析夢境 一日，海塵在夢中:無數如來現前，賜予他許多珍寶蓮花，每朵蓮花裡都有日輪，日輪裡又有七寶寶傘，放光無數，光芒全部融入海塵婆羅門之口。他的身體如千由旬的鏡面一樣廣大清淨，遍滿了無數跏趺而坐的菩薩;甚是稀奇，美輪美奐。
海塵又夢見輻輪王及諸王子遍身覆血，盲衝瞎撞， 啖吃眾生又被眾生吞食 ，循環不已。又看見，有王子坐在豆蔻花裝飾的坐騎上前往迷途。突然，帝釋天來到海塵面前對他說:「你應給眾王子每人一朵蓮花。」海塵聽從吩咐，正分發之時，忽然夢醒。
第二日一早，海塵來到寶藏如來前，請問昨晚的夢境。寶藏如來說道:「吉祥的場景， 表示你將利益無量的眾生並成就佛果;所夢國王和太子的情形暗示，他們雖經勸化但只求人天果報，或只顧自己入於寂滅、趨入聲聞乘。」
