A Little Bird Told Me

最早接觸到這個短語是通過《權利的遊戲》。裡面有個人物叫瓦裡斯(Varys )外號「八爪蜘蛛」，是個情報專家，當他想分享信息又不想公布信息來源的時候，就會說 A little bird told me.
Little birds，是泛指瓦裡斯的整個情報網絡。

Meaning:

A phrase used when one does not want to reveal the source of the information that one is about to share or has shared.

A: "Did you hear that Mark is planning to propose to Sarah soon?"
