武漢現代音樂場景的起源已經被很多文章介紹過，那股力量在新與舊的時代交替中開始生長，在上個世紀末最終爆炸為一顆朋克之花。曾經武漢朋克是武漢搖滾樂最刺眼的名片，但武漢從來不缺乏其它風格的優秀樂隊和優秀的音樂。
The origins of Wuhan modern music have been well introduced -- a force that began to grow in the alternation of the old and new era, and eventually exploded into a flower of punk at the end of last century. Once Wuhan punk was the most dazzling calling card of Wuhan rock, but the city has never lacked excellent bands and music in other genres.
與武漢朋克同時期的，如今仍有很多其它樂隊和老樂手還在堅持著，而新生代樂隊則此起彼伏，欣欣向榮。就像這座城市天生擁有的野性張力一樣，這裡從不缺乏優秀的搖滾樂隊。武漢搖滾樂隊在朋克的另一面，早已沉澱出許多新鮮且成熟的聲音。其中一些樂隊的音樂也隨著樂隊的解散而消散，非常可惜，假如給他們一個機會，未來也許會不一樣。VOX廠牌曾先後出版過《武漢之聲》系列數張，為那些優秀的樂隊留下他們的聲音。
Along with Wuhan punk, many other bands and veteran musicians are still going strong today, while a new generation of bands has emerged and thrived. With wild tension inherent in this city, Wuhan is never short of outstanding rock bands. Wuhan's rock bands, on the other side of the punk spectrum, have produced a lot of fresh and mature music. Unfortunately, as some of these bands broke up, their voices also disappeared. If they were given a chance, their future might be different. VOX once successively published several 「Voice of Wuhan」 series, keeping the voices of those great bands.
近幾年武漢湧現出來的新樂隊呈井噴之勢，非幾張合輯可說明武漢音樂的現狀。武漢配真廠牌（WUHAN PRISON RECORDS）通過大量的現場觀察，從中選擇了13支有代表性的優質樂隊的錄音作品集結成《武漢振動 Wuhan Vibration》合輯，風格涵蓋朋克，硬搖滾，電子，雷鬼，金屬，roots rock，車庫，實驗，民謠等等，將當下武漢地區各種風格的代表樂隊盡數收羅在內。
In recent years, a large number of new bands have sprung up in Wuhan. Just a few compilations are not enough to tell the current Wuhan music story. Having seen numerous live shows, WUHAN PRISON RECORDS has selected 13 representative bands to present their recordings in 「Wuhan Vibration」 -- a compilation covers Punk, Hard rock, Electronic, Reggae, Metal, Roots Rock, Garage, Experimental, Folk and more, capturing a variety of Wuhan music genres.
武漢的確是一個有著豐富層次質感的城市。作為教育重鎮，這裡高校林立，人文氣息濃厚。城市與音樂相互糾纏影響，形成微妙而獨特的武漢氣質。全球疫情令2020年度蒙上濃重的悲情傷感，卻也必促人思考生命與自由的意義。音樂中的積極，治癒會給人們以引導與撫慰。希望音樂能治癒心中的傷痛，音樂的力量能讓人民重拾對生活的信心。
Wuhan is indeed a city with rich textures. As an education center, it is home to many universities. With a strong cultural atmosphere, Wuhan and its music are entwined, creating a subtle and unique Wuhan temperament. The pandemic has cast a shadow over the year 2020, but it will also make people think about the meaning of life and freedom. The positive and healing aspects of music will guide and comfort people. Hopefully, music will heal the pain in our hearts and the power of music will help people regain confidence in life.

Sky King Jack
SKJ是中國武漢第一支JAZZ SKA REGGAE樂隊，從開始的即興排練轉而開始學習探索Ska-Rocksteady Reggae。樂隊戲稱自己是「鄉野Ska Reggae 土情Jazz" 9人組，目前是國內最好的大編制爵士斯卡雷鬼樂隊之一。
Sky King Jack is the first Jazz Ska Reggae band in Wuhan, China. They began with jamming rehearsal and turned to study and explore Ska- Rocksteady Reggae. They call themselves a nine-people group of 「Countrified Ska Reggae Vulgar Jazz」. It is one of the greatest Jazz Ska Reggae big bands.
Reloading
武漢金屬核/電子核新貴Reloading成立於2015年的夏天，最初只是一群充滿力量的少年組成的一支兇狠無比的死核樂隊。隨著時間的推移和每支樂隊都經歷過的人員變動，風格和內容開始與「未來」，「世界」，「人類」的方向靠攏。
Wuhan's metalcore/electronicore upstart Reloading was formed in the summer of 2015 by a group of powerful teenagers who started out as a fierce deathcore band. Over time and with the personnel changes that every band goes through, their style and content began to align with the "future", "world", and "human".
THE ONE玩兒樂隊
THE ONE玩兒樂隊是武漢近十年最活躍的幾支樂隊之一，在各個演出現場，音樂節都可以看到THE ONE的音樂。有自己獨特的風格和表演形式，鍵盤，薩克斯，貝斯，鼓四大件搭配隨時給樂隊帶來穩定的和聲構造新奇的音樂想法，THE ONE玩兒樂隊經常沉迷於各種old school音樂裡，這幾年樂隊瘋狂愛上了老jazz演奏。合輯中收錄的《雨中的窗臺》則是一首清新的bossa風格單曲。
THE ONE is one of the most active bands in Wuhan in the last decade, and their music can be heard at various gigs and festivals. THE ONE has its own unique style and performance, with keyboards, saxophone, bass, and drums bringing a steady structure of harmony and new musical ideas to the band at all times. THE ONE often indulges in all kinds of old school music, and over the past few years the band has fallen in love with old jazz. The compilation includes "Windowsill in the Rain", a fresh Bossa-style single.
越軌
越軌成立於2007年，時至今日，他們做的依舊是簡單直接的老式搖滾，融合了Punk Rock與Hard Rock，也試圖從Blues，Country，Folk等這些根源的音樂類型裡吸取養分。合輯中收錄的《最後的我們》有著濃鬱的布魯斯搖滾的風味，編曲靈巧純正，歌聲高亢，包括吉他音色的選擇也十分復古，一起達成越軌音樂很高的辨識度。
Formed in 2007, Aberration is still a straightforward, old-fashioned rock band that blends Punk Rock and Hard Rock, but also tries to draw from the roots of Blues, Country, Folk and other genres. 「The Last of Us」 presented in the compilation has a strong blues-rock flavor, with ingenious arrangements, soaring vocals, and vintage guitar tones, all of which make their music highly recognizable.

暴青CSBQ
暴青CSBQ來自長沙，是南方朋克樂勢力裡的新生佼佼者，薩克斯主旋律配置令人耳目一新。活躍於純粹的舞臺，堅信真理與正義，以曲為刀以詞為劍，刺破世道的不平。以堅硬的朋克搖滾外殼包裹著柔軟動聽的薩克斯旋律，在表達工人階級訴求的同時用音樂將你環抱，為孤獨吶喊時的你注入新的希望。
CSBQ is a new breed of southern punk from Changsha with a refreshingly melodic saxophone configuration. The band is active on the pure stage. Believing in truth and justice, CSBQ uses songs and lyrics as a sword to pierce the injustice world. With a hard Punk Rock shell wrapped in a soft saxophone melody, the band expresses the demands of the working class while embracing you with their music, injecting new hope into the lonely people.
桃花雞樂隊
桃花雞樂隊(HOW HARD CHICKEN) 由來自長沙的四位少數意見者組成。樂隊風格/朋克樂。
他們沒有像詩人一般的歌詞，也沒有朗朗順口的旋律。但他們將用粗暴的朋克音樂來表達他們的態度，把憤怒的矛頭指向這虛偽的一切，並不指望能夠改變什麼，但他們期待著讓更多的人認清真相。
How Hard Chicken consists of four minority viewers from Changsha. Band Style / Punk
They don't have poet-like lyrics, nor do they have a catchy melody. But they use brutal punk music to express their attitude, directing their anger at the hypocrisy of it all, not expecting to change anything, but looking forward to getting more people to see the truth.
尼古丁樂隊
尼古丁樂隊是一支活躍在武漢本地的車庫搖滾樂隊，沉寂了6年之久重組後的尼古丁樂隊在作品中加入更多的思考，並首次嘗試了雙貝斯的搭配。風格上以朋克為根基，並融入車庫、後朋及Grunge等多種音樂風格。
Nicotine is a garage rock band based in Wuhan. After a six-year hiatus, Nicotine has reunited and added a more thoughtful approach to their work, experimenting with double bass for the first time. The band's style is rooted in punk, but incorporates garage, post-punk and grunge.
聲無哀樂THEWEAPONS
聲無哀樂THEWEAPONS是一支來自武漢的民族實驗融合樂隊，成立於2018年。樂隊成員均來自於武漢音樂學院，風格以民族樂器為核心驅動力，加入電子樂器。樂隊融合宗教，迷幻，自由即興等多種個性化的風格元素。通過對這些素材的創意編排，給聽眾營造 出具有極強想像力及煽動力的幻想世界。
THEWEAPONS is an experimental folk fusion band from Wuhan, formed in 2018. The band members are all from Wuhan Conservatory of Music, and their style is driven by folk instruments with the addition of electronic instruments. The band fuses elements of multiple genres like religious, psychedelic, and free improvisation into their music. Through the creative arrangement of these materials, they create a fantasy world with strong imagination and impetus for the audience.
民謠人郭進
郭進是武漢知名獨立音樂人，演員。湖北省文化藝術交流協會流行音樂專業委員會主任，曾獲13屆青歌賽湖北賽區流行組優秀獎等榮譽。也是2019「牽手星星的孩子」---關愛自閉症兒童系列文藝演出發起人，總策劃。
Guo Jin is a famous independent musician and actor in Wuhan. As the director of the Pop Music Committee of Hubei Culture and Arts Exchange Association, he has won the Excellent Award in the Pop Group of the 13th CCTV Young Singers Grand Prix in Hubei Division. Guo Jin is also the initiator and chief planner of the 2019 "Hand in Hand with Children from Star" - a series of art performances for children with autism.
Tarantism
跳舞病是來自內蒙古的電子音樂團體。Tarantism的靈感來源於Tarantism和「死亡之舞」（Dance of Death）。
Tarantism is an electronic music group from Inner Mongolia. The name of Tarantism was inspired by Tanrantism and 「Dance of Death」.
Ens
Ens是機器的詩歌。利用合成器對聲音的塑形，進入一個由電壓創造的good trip。
Ens is a poem of machines. Using a synthesizer to shape the sound, it makes you onboard a good trip created by voltage.
Takoyoki
Takoyoki：武漢風味章魚燒。

今年疫情期間製作的這張合輯，顯得尤其有時代意義。音樂同樣記錄人的歷史，悲傷或者歡樂，在人心中凝固成璀璨發光的財富。而《武漢振動 Wuhan Vibration》也會堅持繼續下去，繼續幫助武漢本土樂隊發聲，力爭成為武漢原創音樂的又一張優質名片。這張合輯將由太合音樂Indie Works於2020年12月31日發行上線。
This compilation, made during the pandemic this year, is especially significant to the times. Music is also a record of human history, sad or joy, and it is a luminous treasure in the human heart. At the same time, 「Wuhan Vibration」 will continue to help Wuhan local bands make their voices heard, and strive to become another calling card for Wuhan's original music. The compilation will be released online by Indie Works of Taihe Music Group on Dec.31.
