Vanguard《急先鋒》

The first feature released for the holidays, Vanguard — the ninth collaboration between Jackie Chan and director Stanley Tong — will be released on Sept 30. Continuing the style of Chan's action blockbusters, the new film will have dazzling stunts shot in different regions across the world.

這是國慶檔第一部打頭陣的大片，將在9月30日上映。作為成龍和唐季禮合作的第九部影片，該片將延續成龍動作喜劇的一貫特色，繼續「打」遍全球。

The film crew traveled to Dubai, London and Africa to shoot the film. From released trailers, appears to have many elements an appealing commercial film needs. Led by Chan, who will show his trademark fighting skills on the silver screen, the film also features heartthrobs Yang Yang and Zhu Zhengting, as well as comedian actor Ai Lun.

這部曾遠赴杜拜、倫敦和非洲拍攝的動作大片《急先鋒》，從目前的預告片來看，具備一部商業大片的所有元素：顏值擔當有楊洋、朱正廷，搞笑擔當有艾倫，成龍大哥寶刀未老，繼續在大銀幕上「以命相搏」。

In a recent statement, Chan said he was rejoiced to see Vanguard finally out on the big screen. "Our country has done a very good job in the fight against COVID-19. That's why so many film projects and cinemas are now resumed," he said.

對於《急先鋒》終於能在大銀幕上和觀眾相見，成龍表示自己很開心。他說：「我們國家在這一次疫情防控戰中，打得非常漂亮，所以現在才有這麼多的劇組開工，影院也能營業。」

Estimating more quality films will be out in the rest of the year, Chan reminds audiences to remember to wear masks while going to theaters.

成龍還樂觀預測，還將有很多優秀的中國電影陸續在影院和觀眾見面。不過他提醒大家觀影時，一定要遵守影院的防控規矩。「記住，一定要戴口罩哦。」

Legend of Deification《姜子牙》

Jiang Ziya is familiar to most audiences for his character rooted from the ancient novel Fengshen Yanyi, or The Investiture of the Gods. The role has been depicted in a number of Chinese screen productions, but the upcoming animated filmLegend of Deification —a retelling of Jiang's story — is still hotly anticipated by a lot of netizens. The film is produced by the same studios behindNe Zha, the runaway hit of last summer.

姜子牙在國內影視劇上，也是大家耳熟能詳的人物了。但自去年暑假《哪吒之魔童降世》成為爆款之後，這部在「封神宇宙」中接棒而來的動畫版姜子牙也就讓影迷們充滿了期待。

I heard the new movie has done a lot of work in polishing the personality of Daji, a beautiful woman whose body is possessed by a nine-tailed fox demon as depicted in the original novel.

聽說，這部片在妲己的人物形象設計上，下了很大功夫。

But judging by the released trailers, I believe the two major characters, Jiang and Daji, will have brand new stories that cater to modern values.

而從目前已發布的預告片來看，無論是姜子牙，還是蘇妲己，大概都會有一個重新書寫的、更迎合現代價值觀的故事。

The film will open on Oct 1.

My People, My Homeland

《我和我的家鄉》

During National Day last year, the anthology film My People, My Countrysoared as a smash hit, gathering seven renowned directors and many A-list stars. Its success has shown a new formula for producing a blockbuster.

去年國慶檔大熱的《我和我的祖國》，以短故事串聯的方式，集結七名大牌導演和一堆一線明星，探索了一種主流大片的全新成功商業模式。

A replica of the formula, the forthcoming My People, My Homeland, has joined hands of seven directors to helm five standalone stories, also casting a lot of stars. Set in picturesque areas and told in a comedic tone, I believe the movie will be a good option for families.

《我和我的家鄉》顯然也是走這個路子。七個導演，五個故事，加上許多明星，還是熱熱鬧鬧的喜劇，發生在山清水秀的美麗中國，感覺還是挺吸引一家子去看的。

The film will open on Oct 1.

這部影片將和《姜子牙》同時於10月1日上映。

Coffee or Tea?《一點就到家》

Hailed as a younger version of Peter Chan's American Dreams in China,Coffee or Tea?debuted as the opening film of the 2020 Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival in Zhengzhou, Henan province. It will be released across the country on Oct 4.

這部陳可辛監製的「青春版」《中國合伙人》，已經在9月24日晚的金雞百花電影節上，作為開幕影片在河南鄭州亮相了。這部影片將在10月4日公映。

It may be a dark horse for success according to word-of-mouth praise.

It is reported the film was produced in a constrained schedule between early June and late September.

The script was not even completely finished before the first day of shooting. Actor Liu Haoran traveled to the set of Coffee or Tea?just one day after he concluded his shooting forMy People, My Homeland. Liu's fans will be delighted to see their idol so frequently during the holidays.

劇本甚至在開拍前都沒有全部完成，而且主演劉昊然是剛結束《我和我的家鄉》的拍攝，第二天就進組準備《一點就到家》。感覺喜歡昊然弟弟的粉絲，大概能在國慶期間的電影院裡，有種看愛豆「連續劇」 的感覺了。

不管怎樣，在影院重開兩月之後，我珍惜與每部新片相逢的日子，也希望這樣的日子，長長久久。
