又逢一年高考時，由於疫情，今年的高考比往常推遲了一個月。

01.高考」英語怎麼說？
我們都知道，「高中」的英文是 high school，那「高考」難道是 high exam？
大家可能會想到「高中考試」，然後就很自然地把「高考」翻譯成了「high school test」，其實這也是很不正確的說法。
大家可千萬別這樣直譯，高考其實就是進入大學的考試，英文就是：
National College Entrance Examination
college/university entrance examination
還可以這樣說：
college entrance examination system 高考制度
※註：每個單詞一般都不大寫，除非在句首，其中的college說成university也可以。
另外，高考的拼音Gaokao 已經被收錄至最新版牛津詞典了哦~所以用 Gaokao 來表達高考，是完全可以的哦。
例句：The national university entrance examination is held annually in People’s Republic of China.
中國每年都會有一次高考。
如果想出國上大學的小夥伴應該知道 ACT 與 SAT 考試，都被認為是「美國高考」。
ACT 全稱：American College Test
SAT 全稱：Scholastic Assessment Test
02.「文理科」的英文表達
高考考什麼，取決於你在高中選擇的學習方向。大部分的學生在去到高二的時候，需要選擇文理科。
文科 liberal arts
理科 science
也有另外的分類方法：
文科 social science（社科）
理科 natural science（自然科學）

STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) 理科（科學、科技、工程、數學）
※註：表示「文科」時，要用 arts（複數），表示「藝術」時，用 art（單數），
除此之外還可以這麼區分：
liberal arts 人文通識學科：主要用在美國，含義與 arts 基本一致。
fine arts：繪畫、設計、音樂、戲劇等藝術專業。
03.「高考狀元」 英文是？
