What is Lee holding in his hand?
It is a magnet.
Magnet is a kind of iron.
Lee 的手上拿著的是：磁鐵。

Grandpa Chen had a tin monkey.
陳爺爺有一個鐵皮猴子。
tin 錫/罐頭/鐵罐，我們說的一聽可樂，估計就是這個tin，哈哈
綠野仙蹤裡的鐵皮人，就翻譯成了 tin man
"It's magic," he said.
"It goes where you tell it."
陳爺爺說：這是魔法，你讓他去哪裡，他就去哪裡。
這裡的 it 就是指那個 tin monkey 啦。
It goes where you tell it.
it goes. 它去。goes where 它去哪裡呢？
where you tell it 你告訴它的地方
連起來就是： 它去你告訴它的地方。
其實意思就是：你讓他去哪裡，他就去哪裡。

Biff 說：向左，現在向右。

The tin monkey did 這個鐵皮猴子做了，
did what 做了什麼呢？
What Biff said. Biff 說的。
連起來就是： 這個鐵皮猴子做了 Biff 說的。
整理一下就是：這個鐵皮猴子照著 Biff 說的做了。
How does Grandpa Chen make the monkey move without touching it?
"Ha!" said Lee."It's not magic.
You have a magnet under the table."
Lee 說：哈！這個不是魔法。
在桌子底下你有個磁鐵。
"Right!" said Grandpa.
爺爺說：是的！
But How it works?
Beause the monkey is metal,
the magnet attracts the monkey
and so when the magnet moves,
the monkey moves.
但為什麼磁鐵可以吸引金屬呢？
這就有點深奧了。

float means "to move slowly on water or in the air" 懸浮/漂浮/浮起來
for examples 舉些例子：

它的反義詞是：Sink 下沉

這個重讀的 is 又來了，
它表示什麼？對了，的確。

為什麼我們不去乘坐磁懸浮列車？

上海地鐵，就是 Shanghai Metro
媽媽帶孩子們來到了地鐵站。
First, they had to go on the metro.
had to 不得不，必須
首先，他們必須做地鐵。
Mum got the tickets.
媽媽買了票。

媽媽說：大家在一起哦，不要掉隊。
The train to Maglev Station will be full."
去往磁懸浮站的地鐵會比較擁擠。
So, Why did Mum tell the children to keep together?
Because the journey on the metro to Magleve Station was busy.
She is worried that the children might get lost in the crowd.
媽媽為什麼讓大家待在一起啊？
因為，去磁懸浮站的地鐵（也就是我們的地鐵2號線啦），一直很擁擠。
她擔心孩子們會在人群中走散。
At last they got to Maglev Station.
最後，他們到達了磁懸浮站。
"Is that the magnetic train?" joked Biff.
joke 是 「開玩笑」 的意思
Biff 在這裡，是一語雙關，magnetic 有2個意思，
有磁性的，有魅力的。
Biff 開玩笑的說：那是有磁性的（有魅力的）列車。

爺爺糾正到，這是 magnet train 不是 magnetic train

比較級 and 比較級，表示：越來越~

屏幕上 430km 的 km 表示 kilometre 公裡
/h 表示 an hour 每小時
在 430km/h 的左邊一排數字，表示時間。
Can you tell what time is it？
It's half past 10.
現在是 10點半。
"It is so smooth," said Chip.
Chip 說：開的很穩。
"Well, it's floating on magnets," said Mum.
媽媽說：它現在是懸浮在磁鐵上呢。
因為摩擦，所以 so smooth，很穩。

all the way 一路，一直，至始至終（沒有停靠），直達。
上海磁懸浮列車，西起（浦東的地鐵樞紐）龍陽路車站，東至浦東國際機場，中間沒有停站，正線全長30公裡，最高時速431km/h，單向運行時間約8分鐘。
Then it took them back to Maglev Station.
然後磁懸浮列車，又把他們帶回了磁懸浮站。
They went to the Maglev Museum.
他們去了磁懸浮博物館。
磁浮龍陽路站設有上海磁浮交通科技館，（位於上海市浦東新區龍陽路2100號）在磁浮列車龍陽路站的底層），主要展示了上海磁浮有關的內容，有機會值得一去。
