Gotcha 是 「騙到你了/惡作劇/抓到你了」 的意思

Chip was scared.
So did Biff and Kipper.
Who likes playing tricks?
Chip 被嚇了一跳，
Biff 和 Kipper 也被嚇到了。

A boy came for the afternoon with his mum.
一天下午，一個男孩和他媽媽來玩。
「My name is Kevin," he said.
「我叫 Kevin.」 他說。
They looked the same age.
Let's play togather.

Kevin 的包裡有個罐子。
It looked like the can of crisps.
Kevin took out the can.
"Do you want some crisps?"he asked.
「想吃薯片嗎?」他問。
suddenly, 突然
A toy snake shot out of the can.
「Eak!"said Chip.
一條玩具蛇從罐子裡彈了出來。
「哎呀!」 Chip說。
Chip was scared.
Kevin laughed and laughed.

「騙到你了吧！」 Kevin 喊道。
Mums came up.
What did Kevin's mum think?
"Kevin loves playing tricks,"explained his mum.

「It was just a joke,"said Kevin.
「只是開個玩笑而已。」 Kevin 說，
Ok，Biff and Chip forgave him.
We were still friends.
Let's play together.

"Thanks," said Biff and Chip.

Biff's mouth was blue as well.

Kevin played tricks again.
Biff and Chip were unhappy.
"Gotcha again!"said Kevin with a smirk.
smirk 是 「笑/得意的笑」
「再一次惡作劇!」 Kevin 得意地笑著說。

Do you want to play with him again?
Where did Kevin get those trick sweets?
"Those are trick sweets from the joke shop!"

Biff and Chip sat on the sofa.
They didn't feel well today.
After Kevin left, Biff said,
「Next time we need to trick him."

At the weekend Biff asked Dad to take them to the joke shop in town,
周末，Biff 讓爸爸帶著他們去鎮上的惡作劇店。

In a joke shop, you can buy fancy dress，costumes, pranks, practical jokes, masks and more.
什麼是 joke shop 呢？
就是 「惡作劇店」 啦，在店裡，可以買到演出服、戲服，惡作劇的道具，面具等等。

「This camera squirts water,"sad Chip.
「How about an ice cube?"said Kipper.
「這架相機會噴水。」Chip 說。

「It has a plastic fly in it,"he said.
「裡面有隻塑料蒼蠅。」他說。
「No,we need something better to trick Kevin,"said Biff.
「不，我們需要更好的東西捉弄 Kevin。" Biff說。

He had come to the joke shop too, with his mum.

「I've got an idea,"said Chip.
Biff and Kipper leaned in and listened carefully.
「我有個主意。」Chip說。
Biff和Kipper靠近仔細聽。
The next time Kevin came to the house,
the children were ready for him.
下次Kevin來時，
孩子們萬事俱備。
「Do you want a glass of water?"asked Biff.
「Nice try!」said Kevin,
「要喝水嗎?」Biff說。
「得了吧!」Kevin說。
「I bet that is a trick glass that makes you dribble down your front."
「我打賭是捉弄人的杯子，前面會漏水。」
「Sit down and play a game with us, Kevin,"said Chip.
「坐下和我們玩遊戲吧，Kevin。」Chip說。
「No way!"said Kevin.
「There's probably a trick cushion that makes a rude noise on that chair!"
「沒門!」Kevin說，
「椅子上的捉弄墊子會發出粗魯的聲音。」
Kipper had a bunch of flowers.
「Look at these, Kevin,」he said.
「No chance!"said Kevin.
Kipper拿出一束花。
「看，Kevin。」他說。
「不可能!」Kevin說。
「Those must be trick flowers that squirt water!"
Kevin went and stood in the corner.
「一定是捉弄人的花，會噴出水來!"
Kevin走到角落裡。
When it was time to go,Kevin said,
"See?Nobody tricks me!"
Biff smiled,「We did trick you."
該走了,Kevin說:
「看了吧?沒人能捉弄我!"
Biff笑了，「我們已經捉弄過你了。」
「You did nothing all afternoon,just waiting for a trick,"said Chip.
「But we never had any tricks ready!"
「你整個下午什麼也沒做，就等著被捉弄呢。」Chip說，
「但我們沒有什麼報弄的東西!'
「Gotcha,Kevin!"said Biff and Chip together.
And Kevin had to agree,
「惡作劇，Kevin!" Biff和Chip齊聲說。
