《故鄉的路》（Take Me Home, Country Roads，也被譯成：鄉村路帶我回家）是美國鄉村歌手約翰·丹佛演唱的一首膾炙人口的經典鄉謠歌曲。約翰·丹佛是美國著名的鄉村歌手，青年時代在大學攻讀建築設計專業，1971年放棄學業，一心從事鄉村歌曲的創作和演唱，當年即以歌曲《故鄉的路》一舉成名。
約翰·丹佛（John Denver），是美國著名的鄉村音樂歌手，於1943年生於美國西南部的新墨西哥州，曾經學習建築專業。1971年，他放棄學業，潛心從事鄉村歌曲的創作與演唱。起初受到別人的嘲笑，但他始終不為所動。最終在1971年以這首《Take Me Home, Country road》一舉成名，為著名鄉村音樂歌星。
丹佛熟悉鄉村生活，熱愛大自然，他創作的許多歌曲都是讚美大自然和歌頌人類友愛與美好的感情。因其曲調簡樸優美，內容清新向上、歌詞富有詩意和哲理，使他享有「桂冠詩人」的美名。丹佛曾獲得21次金唱片獎和4 次白金唱片獎，1997年約翰·丹佛在加利福尼亞海灣因飛機失事不幸身亡，終年53歲。
