相信大家的微信朋友圈一定有很多人，閨蜜，死黨，好友，同事，炮友。。。英文怎麼表達？只會講Friend? 今天我們就來學一下英文各種朋友關係的說法。當然每個人界定自己心目中朋友的位置都不相同，所以這篇文的一些個人觀點只能用來參考。重點是學習英文表達！
Stranger: someone not known or not familiar
陌生人。完全不認識的人。
e.g. I had never met those people before; they were complete strangers. 我從沒見過那些人，他們全是陌生人。
以下這句話應該是家長常常對家裡的小孩說的：
e.g. Don't talk to strangers. 不要和陌生人講話。
我們來看看由淺到深的幾種朋友關係的表達.
Acquaintance: a person that you have met but do not know well:
泛泛之交的人。屬於打過交道，見面會打招呼，但是從來不會深談。相信大家的facebook，微信,Instagram 上面一堆這種類型的朋友。有些有可能你都早已忘記他們的名字了。
e.g. I don't really know him, he just a business acquaintance. 我不是很了解他，他只是一個在生意上打過交道的人。
Friend/casual friend: a person who you like and enjoy being with.
朋友。Casual『隨意的』。這裡指認識，而且是你平時自己社交圈內的人，也會聊天但是不會太深入。一般的朋友。但這個類別的朋友有可能」友誼的小船說翻就翻。」
e.g. She is not my friend anymore. 她再也不是我朋友。
Good friend/close friend
好朋友。就是除了會聊很多事情之外也會分享很多意見的好朋友。
e.g. They are my good friends, we have a lot in common. 他們是我的好朋友，我們有很多相同之處。
Confidante/confidant:a person with whom you can share your feelings and secrets
知心朋友，密友。這個程度已經達到閨蜜級別。字面上意思是你可以把什麼秘密都講給他/她聽的人。Confidante：指的是女性。比如閨蜜或者紅顏知己。Confidant：指的男性知己（這個很多人都有所保留，男女之間能否有純友誼？）
e.g. She is my confidante; I tell her everything without reservation. 她是我的知己，我毫無保留的跟她說任何的事情。
BFF: a way of referring to a person’s best friend
最要好的朋友、死黨. BFF=Best Friend Forever.字面意思就是永遠的好朋友
Boyfriend/ Girlfriend
男/女朋友。
High School sweetheart/Childhood sweetheart：Your significant other that you have kept through most of your high school time.
青梅竹馬，兩小無猜.在外國有些情侶從高中開始交往，工作之後還結婚了，他們就可被稱為high school sweethearts。當然也有最後沒結婚的，但是也可以這麼界定為high school sweethearts. 有些則是從小玩到大，感情超級好的朋友就被稱為childhood sweethearts。
e.g. LeBron James married his high school sweetheart Savannah Brinson after 9 years of dating. LeBron James 和拍拖9年的高中女友Savannah Brinson結婚。
Co-worker /Collogue： one of a group of people who work together
同事，同僚一起工作的人。
e.g. He always gets along well with his colleagues in the office. 他總是和辦公室的同事相處得很好。e.g. Gossiping about co-workers is not appropriate. 八卦同事是不對的。
Online friend：a person you know exclusively through the Internet and will rarely meet
網友。也有稱為Internet friend. 這包括在social networking sites（社交網站），forums論壇等各種網上認識的人。有些人認為網友有時更像好朋友，因為彼此看不到，所以更容易把true self （真實自我）的一面表現出來。
e.g. I am going to meet my online friend in Korea next week.We have been talking to each other for almost 5 years. 我要去韓國見我的網友。我們一起聊天已經快5年了。

netizen: citizen of the net
網民。這個詞並不十分流行，多數出現在寫作中，像一些新聞報導裡面會有，而且很多時候是用來說關於中國或者韓國的網民。也有說這個詞是來自konglish（韓式英文）。不可否認這兩地方的網絡上有不少網絡暴民。
Partner : a person or organization you are closely involved with in some way; one of the owners of a company;
合伙人、合作夥伴
e.g. Tom is my business partner, and he’s a nice guy. Tom 是我的合伙人，他是一個很不錯的人。
Partner: the person you are having a sexual relationship with
愛人、性伴侶。這裡是partner的第二個意思，是指在一起很久但未結婚的同居者；另外也是同性戀對自己另一半的稱謂。
e.g. I』ve invited David and his partner over for dinner. 我邀請David 和他的伴侶共進晚餐。
Friends with benefits: a friend with whom you also have asexual relationship
俗稱『炮友』。Benefit 『利益，好處』. 直譯「有好處的朋友」。這個關係並非僅僅只是各取所需，這層關係的兩人還是有友情存在的。
Fair-weather friend: someone who can be depended on onlywhen everything is going well
酒肉朋友。不能一起共患難的朋友。Fair-weather （好的天氣）字面意思只有天氣好才做朋友，非常形象的一個詞。
e.g. I had lots of friends when I was rich and successful,but when the money was gone it became clear that most were only fair-weather friends. 在我有錢又成功的時候我有很多朋友，但當我沒錢的時候很清楚看到很多都只是酒肉朋友。
Frenemy : one who pretends to be a friend but is actually anenemy.
friend （朋友）+enemy（敵人）= frenemy
假扮為朋友的敵人。在我們生活中總會遇到這種人。先裝好人接近你，然後慢慢地在你背後補一刀的人。
e.g. Have you got a frenemy in workplace?
在外國，見到朋友一定不會傻傻的說『hi,friend!』。朋友間有很多常用的稱謂，相信你在電影電視裡都聽過不少。
Hey man!
Man 意思比較弱的稱呼，就是指代任何人。
What’s up bro!
Bro =brother兄弟，現在很流行的一句稱呼。
Hey buddy!
Buddy常常被翻譯成「夥計」，但實際上在美式英文裡面有表示親密朋友的稱呼，當然也可以用來稱呼不知道對方姓名的陌生人。可以翻譯成「哥們」。
How’s going dude?
Dude 在美語中非常常用的稱呼，也是廣泛指代任何人。
G』day mate!
Mate 只在英國和澳大利亞有使用，美式英文不會用，Mate等同於buddy。 G』day mate!澳洲經典問候語。
Pal: a good friend or mate
朋友，兄弟。這個詞也是在英國愛爾蘭這些國家被廣泛運用。相信大家在小學課本中一定學過pen pal （筆友）這個詞吧。

guys當稱呼一群人的時候，指代任何人，不限於朋友。
Hey girl!
Girl 泛指任何人
Hi, sweetie!
甜心。用來稱呼關係很好的朋友。也有說sweet heart。
Hey sis, how’s going!
Sis= sister
姐妹。
Verb phrases to describe the stages in a friendship 用來表達友誼階段的動詞短語
To make friends with: to start a friendship
與。。。交朋友。注意friends一定要複數哦。
e.g. I want to make friends with everyone in the class.我想和班上的每個人都交朋友。
To be friend with: to describe a current friendship
與。。。是朋友。
e.g. They are friends with Tony and Rachel. 他們和Tony 、Rachel 是朋友。
Lose touch with: fail to keep in touch
與。。失去聯繫
e.g. I lost touch with her since we graduated from high school .自從高中畢業之後，我和她失去聯繫。
Hang out with: to spend a lot of time in a place or with someone
與。。。呆在一起。
e.g. I like to hang out with my friends . 我喜歡和我朋友呆一起。
