搜航網獨家獲悉，當地時間本周一（5月25日），中遠海運旗下一艘船名為COSCO SAO PAULO的貨櫃船在南非海域突發事故！
事發當時COSCO SAO PAULO正從南非德班港前往下個港口開普敦港，據悉，5月25日早上，該貨櫃船一處貨艙疑似起火，並被要求在開普敦外海錨地拋錨，期間COSCO SAO PAULO輪遭遇惡劣天氣，船體發生劇烈晃動，外媒報導事故中有可能造成貨櫃墜海丟失！

相關資料顯示，本次發生事故的COSCO SAO PAULO輪，目前服務於中遠海運知名的南非航線ZAX2，掛靠港口包括廈門，香港，深圳蛇口，廣州南沙和臺灣高雄等多個國內港口。
另外，鑑於該貨櫃船同時也掛靠最大的中轉港新加坡港，不排除國內其他港口經由新加坡中轉南非的貨物有配載此船的可能。

從相關船期資料顯示，除了中遠海運之外，發生事故的 COSCO SAO PAULO輪上共艙的船公司眾多，其中至少可能包含赫伯羅特，長榮，東方海外，太平船務和以星輪船。
具體涉及共艙的船公司可能包含：
COSCO ZAX2航線赫伯羅特 SA2航線OOCL SAF2航線EVERGREEN ASA 航線PIL ASA 航線ZIM SA2航線
截止目前事故造成的具體損失情況尚不明朗，但據搜航網獨家獲悉，已經有保險公司就本次事故可能造成的貨櫃丟失及貨損情況給客戶發出了理賠通知：
