《You Raise Me Up》的原唱是Secret Garden，被多次翻唱。經溫情王子Josh Groban 演繹而紅極一時，曾經坐了六周冠軍，Josh本人也憑藉這首歌獲得了格萊美最佳流行男歌手提名，《You Raise Me Up》因此成為Josh 的代表作。
雖然沒有在美國發行，但是這首歌在美國被用於紀念911事件。僅2004年,《You Raise Me Up》就在美國的電臺共計播放了至少500,000多次。2005年年底，僅在美國這首歌就有80餘個版本，並獲得福音音樂獎（Gospel Music Awards）包括「年度最佳歌曲」獎項在內的四個提名。
