Today we are heading back to China, so the contents of this progress report will be coming in 0.10. Before you ask, still no ETA for that sadly, beyond soonTM that is.

Hey there, today I will be showing off the elusive Left Koumintang and their role in China and Kaiserreich as a whole. I would like to mention before we continue that if you want a history of the KMT and how they have got to their current state then look at the dev diary here. Firstly here is the starting setup of the Left Koumintang when they rise up. Now, let’s get stuck in.

大家好！今天我將給大家介紹晦澀難懂的國民黨左翼，以及他們在中國和整個Kaiserreich世界裡扮演的角色。在繼續介紹之前，我想先請大家注意，如果你想知道國民黨的歷史以及他們為什麼會處於現在的境況，請閱讀這裡的開發日誌。首先，這裡是國民黨左翼發動起義後的開局狀況，現在讓我們開始吧。

領導人介紹：汪精衛

儘管汪精衛掌握了國民黨的領導權超過了十年，但是在國民黨內部，他還是個不安定因素。在1910年的辛亥革命不久之前，他暗殺攝政王載灃失敗。不過，儘管他被囚禁，他還是因此成為了轟動全國的革命英雄，這成為了他成為國內名人的開端。

辛亥革命之後，汪精衛被釋放，他激進的政治文章變得越發知名。儘管在孫中山組建中華革命黨（譯註：此處指的是孫中山在日本將國民黨改組為中華革命黨時要求黨員按指模對其個人宣誓的事件）時拒絕對其個人宣誓效忠，汪精衛還是成為了廣州國民政府的重要官員。汪精衛與國民黨內部實力越發增長的激進左翼派系，以及軍隊中的新銳派結盟。終於在1925年，汪精衛用計謀擊敗了胡漢民，成為了孫中山的繼承人。

在此後不久，北伐戰爭與德國人的幹涉使廣東的國民政府覆滅，其他的激進派系很快受到了孫科以及其它穩健派的指責，要求他們為北伐失敗負責。但是，由於汪精衛在黨內的位置很鞏固，加上他的個人聯盟關係，最終沒有讓自己黯然下臺。

由於這些因素，汪精衛得以存活至今。但是，他對自己在未來的領導權十分關注，這取決於下一次革命嘗試的結果如何。

在個人性格上，汪精衛性格招搖，而且相當狂暴，生來就是一個演說家。他對於穿軍裝、扮演總司令有著強烈的嗜好，因此許多對手都認為他是個自大狂。不過，在面對真正的軍事決策的時候，他還是選擇讓軍官主導。他有著維持工團分子結盟的主張，只不過被全力避免德國與日本又一次幹預的考慮所壓制，除非中國再次實現統一，並且已經準備好了對抗德國與日本他們。

左翼國民黨有著民主和平民主義的理念，但是卻並沒有得到足夠的支持以實現全國的統一。只有通過長時間的國家建設以及軍事上的勝利才能讓人民相信國民政府是合法的，而不是與軍閥是一丘之貉，跟危險的工團分子也不是一回事。

The LKMT doesn’t actually start on the map as they are restricted to secretive bases in Fujian, however the collapse of the league might just create the perfect opportunity to strike.

The war will be hard fought and you will need to use everything you can to win the revolt as the Nanjing Clique will provide some serious resistance even in their weakened state. On top of Nanjing you also have other threats like Anqing or a Zongchang/Tianran led Shandong which will you will be brought into conflict with. To help you in your struggle you have a myriad of decisions to raise loyal forces as well as missions seize nearby land.

對玩家而言，這場戰爭會很難打，你需要動員一切力量來贏得這場起義，因為即使南京軍閥的勢力遭到了削弱，他們也會負隅頑抗。除了南京，安慶軍閥或者張宗昌/張天然領導下的山東軍閥也有可能與你交火。為了給你的鬥爭提供方便，只要你拿下了附近的地區，你就會有大量的可以用來招募忠誠的部隊的決議可用。

中國國民革命

在北伐以災難性結局告終之後，留在國內的國民黨就立即——無論是字面上還是喻義上——根據意識形態的分野而四分五裂了。右翼國民黨在南方的軍閥庇護之下寄人籬下，而左翼國民黨在東南地區繼續發動暴動，並在巴黎建立了流亡政府。在過去的十年中，還沒有發生過幾次建立起與北京分庭抗禮的政府的嘗試，但是大家已經形成了下一次起義一定要採取與全面的社會革命相結合方式的共識。這可能是我們實現孫中山先生的理想的最後的一次機會了。

Focus Tree

國策樹

This leads me onto the first part of the focus tree here. Let us dissect this a little, so the Legal Code section isn’t unlocked until you have secured your position in the southeast but that area of the tree will provide you with some choices to make regarding land distribution and opium. These options will help you integrate China better. The next part is something you can do to provide you with many ways to gain equipment which you will need, you may anger other countries in this section but it is vital to ensure the revolution survives. Finally in this part of the tree you have the ability to help out the KMT in other warlords and if the KMT on the left come out on top they will be loyal to you in the struggle for China. This section also has room to expand into the rest of Southern China bolstering your powerbase.

The next part of the tree has you transitioning what is essentially a guerilla force into a new NRA which is capable of launching a second Northern Expedition. This part of the tree will give you choices like prioritising manpower or modernization and continuing the idea of making your army and actual fighting force among other benefits for your army. The other part of the army tree has you making a navy as well as an air force for a modern China… it even offers you a way to provoke your natural enemy which you should tread carefully. Like before this section requires you to consolidate the southeast.

國策的下一部分會讓你把基本上是遊擊單位的部隊轉變為一支新的國民革命軍，這支國民革命軍有能力發動第二次北伐戰爭。這一部分的國策樹會給你提供選擇，比如是優先人力還是在軍隊現代化，以及繼續讓你為你的軍隊和實際作戰部隊在幾項增益中做出選擇。軍隊國策樹的其它部分會讓你打造一支為現代中國準備的海軍和空軍...它甚至給你提供了一條激怒你敵人的途徑，選擇這一條路徑的話你需要小心行事。和前面提到的國策一樣，這一部分的國策樹也需要你在東南站穩腳跟以後才能選擇。

When your enemies are dealt with you will start the 1st Repatriated Congress of the KMT which has you literally build a country from the ground up with a wealth of events that can choose the course of your nation.

當你解決了你的敵人之後，你就可以召開國民黨歸國後的第一屆代表大會了。此時你要字面意義上地從頭建設一個國家，你會有許多事件可以決定國家的事業路線。

These events will unlock focuses as well as changing rewards for other focuses. You will also have a choice to change your leader depending on what faction takes control. There are a few paths to pick after this like having free elections or to more dangerous paths with the ZhongTeJu.

這些事件會解鎖新的國策，同時也會更改其它一部分國策提供的獎勵。你也可以選擇更換領導人，這取決於選擇哪一個派系上臺。在這之後也會有一些道理可以選擇，例如舉行自由選舉，或是更危險的「中特局」的道路。

Of course at some point you will have to venture North and face whoever controls Beijing for control of China.

當然了，到了某個成熟時點，你就必須要冒險舉行北伐，對抗任何控制著北京的勢力，以最終控制中國。

If you manage to come out victorious after a long series of engagements you can try to finally end the period of warlords and secure the other areas of China you haven’t got yet and bring them under true republican rule.. This section will be mainly accessed later on in the game and so there are a few options open to the player to allow them to expand outside of China. The final area of the tree has you dealing with foreign powers in a world that has completely changed since you first rose up.

如果你在經歷了一連串的交戰之後終於取得了勝利，那麼你就終於能夠終結軍閥時代，並解放還未控制的其它中國地區，並將它們歸於真正的共和統治之下...這一部分大體上會在遊戲後期可以選擇，並且還有一些擴張到中國之外的選項。國策的最後一部分讓你能夠在一個與你最初發動起義時相比已經天翻地覆了的世界裡和外國列強掰掰手腕。

If you thought that was it however you may not know but as Liangguang you will be able to get the Left KMT in power. I mention this because there is actually another tree which will replace the first area of the original KMT tree that I showed. This is because it is exclusive to Chen Mingshu (The leader of Left KMT Liangguang) if he forms the LKMT, it is worth noting he can only form it himself if the revolt fails in Fujian. The tree will have you deal with the aftermath of the crisis in Liangguang where you are trying to secure the area as well as deal with the gentry and merchants, here is that tree.

你可能覺得今天的內容就這些了，但是你大概還不知道，遊玩兩廣軍閥的話你也能讓國民黨左翼上臺。我之所以提到這一點，是因為他們會有另一個國策樹，把我今天展示的初始國民黨國策樹的第一部分給替換掉。這是因為陳銘樞（國民黨左翼控制下的兩廣的首腦）成立國民黨左翼的情況與原生國民黨左翼的情況是互斥的。請大家注意，只有在福建的起義失敗的情況下，他才能夠重建國民黨左翼。這部分的國策樹旨在讓你解決兩廣危機的餘波，你可以藉此控制這一地區，同時解決鄉紳和商團的問題。這裡是陳銘樞的國策樹。

There is plenty more to experience on your own which I won’t show so rest assured if you play the Left Koumintang you will be in for a treat. That is all this week but here is the full tree to tide you over until next week.
