In the first of our series 'Stay Well at Home', we』d like to focus on Staying Safe. It’s essential to stay mentally active and physically robust and we want to provide you with more preventive measures to help you stay safe and healthy.

Safety Tips at Home
居家安全小貼士
不要觸摸自己的臉部(或者他人的臉部)。若無法避免,請先用肥皂洗淨手掌至手肘。
口罩佩戴時長不得超過一天,口罩佩戴時間過長,會造成內罩細菌滋生。使用完後包裹好扔進垃圾桶內,儘量不要接觸口罩外側,若觸碰了也不用緊張,用肥皂洗淨手即可。
不要和他人共享食物、餐具、杯子、毛巾,請使用公筷,並單獨使用毛巾。
定期清潔或消毒常使用、觸摸的物品表面,如門把手、扶手等。
-Keep the rooms clean, open windows frequently for ventilation.
保持房間清潔,勤開窗通風;
-Avoid consuming raw and undercooked meat, e.g. sushi, sashimi, eggs.
避免使用未煮熟的肉類,如壽司、刺身、雞蛋;
-Avoid visiting markets that sell live animals (poultry, seafood, wild animals).
避免前往售賣活禽家禽、海鮮、野生動物的市場;
-Avoid contact with people who are unwell.
避免與病患身體不適的人群接觸;
-Do not spit. Wrap nose secretions with paper towels, and put them in a covered dustbin.
不要隨意吐痰。用紙巾擦拭鼻涕,並將其扔進有蓋的垃圾桶中;
-Prepare and store some thermometers, surgical masks and household disinfection supplies.
家裡準備體溫計、外科口罩和家用消毒用品。
Boost Your Immune System
增強免疫力
-Consume adequate fruits and veggies.
適量食用水果和蔬菜;
-Drink more juices and water.
多喝水和果汁;
-Take manuka honey for health. Probiotics can also help boost your immune system.
服用麥盧卡蜂蜜有益健康。益生菌能增強您的免疫力;
-Clock in enough exercise.
鍛鍊身體;
-Get ample sleep and ensuring a stress-free lifestyle.

Amidst the Fight
放下成見,共同戰役
As pointed out by Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO): 「This is a time for facts, not fear. This is a time for rationality, not rumours. This is a time for solidarity, not stigma.」 This Covid-19 outbreak is a global health issue, and it does not relate to any country, nationality or race. We fight against the virus and not the people.
正如世衛組織(WHO)總幹事Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus所說:「現在是需要事實,而不是恐懼的時刻;是需要理性而不是謠言的時刻;是需要團結而不是羞辱的時刻。」 新冠肺炎是全球的公共衛生問題,它與任何國家、國際或種族無關。我們對抗的是病毒而不是人們。
This is a crucial time for our community and countries to stand hand in hand and do our part to prevent the further spread of the virus. This outbreak can only be won if we all commit and fight it together. This is the time to show our values of compassion and care to each other, this is the time to strive—we are stronger together.
現在是抗擊疫情的關鍵時刻,需要我們的社區、我們的國家攜手並進,共同戰役。現在是我們展示同理心和關懷彼此的時刻。只要我們團結一心,一定可以戰勝病毒。
