藉助情態動詞

多用may，might，could，would等情態動詞，它們可以弱化你的口氣，不會讓對方感覺你的口氣是在命令。
Example
Before: I want more time to finish this research.
這樣的語氣感覺頤指氣使，如果對方是你老闆的話，年底的獎金肯定要涼涼。
After: It would (might) be great to have more time to finish this research.是不是藉助情態動詞，這句話聽起來得體禮貌很多呢？
想到上面的那句「Please give me a cup of tea.」大家試試把這個命令體修改一下吧！
Would you give me a cup of tea, please? Can/May I have a cup of tea, please? 瞬間變身禮貌的英國紳士。
使用Softeners

通常在表達否定意思的時候，比較容易留下沒禮貌的印象。試試多用seem, appear, sound, look這樣的詞。在下結論的時候哪怕有100%很確定的事情，記得適當加上這些詞，不會讓人家聽起來很生硬。

After: This seems to be wrong/This doesn't sound quite right.
Before: We don't have other options.
After: It seems that we don't have other options.
另外，如果想麻煩別人幫忙做一件事時，委婉的表達我們也可以用Is it possible that...或者Is there any chance... 意思是如果有可能、有機會，語氣較輕且婉轉。

After: Is there any chance to check the data for me? / Is it possible to double check the data for me?
使用反問句

如果覺得Is it possible that...這樣的句式不夠有說服力，想提出建議，請求時，試試這個方法不僅可以加重說話力度，還不失風度。

After: Wouldn't be better for us to take this option?
