本周在工作室』我們採訪的是 Jayna 老師,她從2017年開始加入Z&B的行列!她教授流瑜伽、哈他瑜伽、牆繩瑜伽和陰瑜伽的課程!我堅信瑜伽適合所有人,我的目的是讓所有人都能接受瑜伽。
在我的課程中,我旨在創造一個包容的環境-重點是自我和我們在墊子上的旅程,而不是實現完美的姿勢。
我故意進行緩慢的教學,以使意識恢復到身體和呼吸。生活已經很瘋狂,所以為何瑜伽還要如此呢?
I truly believe that yoga is for everyone and my purpose is to make yoga accessible to all.
In my classes I aim to create an inclusive environment - the focus is on the self and the journey we take on the mat, it’s not about achieving the perfect pose.
I teach with intentional slowness to bring consciousness back to the body & breath and because life is crazy so why should yoga be?
Listen to your body, really really listen to it; take it day by day. It is more about the process and the journey that you go through than any ultimate end goal.
What is your fitness story? 我28歲時踏上了瑜伽墊,促使我的是能夠到我腳趾的願望-那時彎下去都很困難。直到今天,讓我一直呆在墊子上的是瑜伽的魔力。我愛上了瑜伽的治癒能力以及身心與呼吸之間的美好聯繫。我在雪梨的第一個瑜伽老師體現了真正的瑜伽練習,他們的教學和智慧為我開啟了通往後續的大門。我真的很感謝他們以及我在旅途中遇到的其他出色的老師。我發覺了自己不知道的身體,在生活中的所有挑戰中,瑜伽一直陪伴著我。瑜伽已經改變了我的生活方式-從思考的方式轉變為現在的工作。
I was 28 years old when I stepped onto a yoga mat. What prompted me was a desire to touch my toes - I could hardly fold over at that time. What kept me on the mat till this very day has been the magic of the yoga practice. I fell in love with the healing qualities of yoga and the beautiful connection between mind, body and breath.
The yoga teachers at the first studio I practiced in Sydney really embodied the yoga practice and their teachings & wisdom were a gateway for me into what followed. I’m truly grateful for them and the other wonderful teachers I have met along the way. I discovered my body, which I had no idea about and yoga has been there for me through all of life’s challenges. Yoga has transformed my way of being - from my way of thinking to what I am doing now.
What drives you every day as an instructor?我喜歡看在自己的瑜伽之旅的人們,他們如何通過日常工作和練習成長,改變和轉變。他們身體在變化,他們的思想在開拓,他們的生活在不斷改善。看到這一點我會覺得很收益。I love seeing people on their yoga journey - how they grow, change & transform through their daily effort and practice. Their bodies change, their minds open and their lives change for the better so seeing this is so rewarding.
What do you like to do in your spare time?沒有什麼比與大自然相連讓我更充滿喜悅的了。我也很享受和男朋友和貓在家裡放鬆的時光。

Nothing fills me with more joy than being connected to nature. I also love chilling out at home with my boyfriend and cat.
I like to learn new things – right now I’m studying yoga anatomy & philosophy, palmistry and herbalism. I’m also a fan of crafty workshops where I can make and create. At the moment I’m really into macramé.
And of course practice yoga, either at home or in the studio.
What does your fitness routine look like?我的瑜伽練習是陰陽平衡。我喜歡陽瑜伽,因為我可以通過呼吸,探索身體創意有趣的序列,在身心上受到挑戰,並最終獲得寧靜。我喜歡陰瑜伽,因為這可以使我的生活變得更好一點,它們可以讓我休息,放鬆並與我的作為緊密聯繫。

My yoga practice is a balance of yin + yang. I love yang styles of yoga because I can move to my breath, explore creative fun sequences, be physically & mentally challenged and at the end of it all there is stillness. I love yin practices because they make my life a little better, they allow me to rest, slow down and to deeply connect with my being.
I have recently gotten into Pilates, I loveeeee it! And I love MYbarre too.
Where is your favorite place to eat?
我喜歡去度粒,Egg和Rac,我經常去。我也很喜歡在家做飯,我夢想能吃上彩虹🌈I adore Duli, Egg and RAC – they are my go to places.
I also love cooking at home – I try as best I can to eat rainbows.🌈
你喜歡什麼樣的訓練前,訓練後小食?
What is your favorite pre and post workout snack?
我一般做瑜伽前後都不會覺得需要吃東西。不過如果要吃的話,我會選擇水果/椰子水/蛋白球。I usually don’t feel the need to eat directly before or after yoga. But if I do, then I like to refuel with fruit / coconut water / protein balls.告訴我們一些大家都不知道的關於你的事情。
Tell us a few things we don’t know about you
1. 我教瑜伽之前,我曾在企業界從事會計,關稅和消費稅還有市場調研做了有10年左右。2. 我也擁有心理學學位,並曾打算繼續攻讀該學位。1. Before teaching yoga, I used to work in the corporate world for 10 years or so in accounting, custom & excise tax, market research

3. I still fall over when I practice handstands at home and there are a lot of feet marks on the wall👣
What is the best advice someone has ever given you?我第一次面試的時候遲到了,然後在火車平臺上瘋狂試著買票。售票員只是看著我說:「放鬆,放輕鬆。」 我依然記得自己當時有多恐慌和這次的經歷對我來說意味著什麼,所以每次我有這種感覺時,我都會想到要放輕鬆。
「Relax, take it easy」
I was running late to my first job interview and I was trying to frantically buy a ticket on the train platform. The ticket conductor just looked at me and said 「relax, take it easy.」 I still remember how panicked I was and how it meant everything to me, so every time I feel that way I just think of this.
What does the next 3 years look like for you?不斷感受生活帶來的充實,豐富和活力。保持完全活著的感覺並探索存在的本質。
並通過教瑜伽與他人繼續分享這個夢想。
To keep experiencing life in its fullness, its richness and its vibrancy. To keep feeling completely alive and exploring the essence of being.
And to keep sharing this dream with others – through teaching yoga.
