nerves指的是我們的「神經」，我們可以想像，get on sb.'s nerves（跑到人家的神經上）當然會讓人家覺得很煩，因此get on sb.'s nerves就表達「令某人很不爽，惹毛某人」的意思。我們也可以把You're getting on my nerves.這句的主語換成其他的人、事、物，例如我們可以說：The loud drilling next door is getting on my nerves.（隔壁鑽洞的聲音超大，惹毛我了。）
