中國飯店吃飯，你一定會需要使用筷子。
zhōng guó fàn diàn chī fàn，nǐ yí dìng huì xū yào shǐ yòng kuài zi。
When eating in a Chinese restaurant, you will definitely need to use chopsticks.
使用筷子時我們需要注意什麼呢？
shǐ yòng kuài zi shí wǒ men xū yào zhù yì shén me ne？
What should we pay attention to when using chopsticks?
1、用餐前，筷子要整齊擺放在飯碗的右側，飯後要豎向放在飯碗的正中間。將筷子長短不齊地放在桌子上被認為是很不吉利的，代表著死亡。
yòng cān qián，kuài zi yào zhěng qí bǎi fàng zài fàn wǎn de yòu cè，fàn hòu yào shù xiàng fàng zài fàn wǎn de zhèng zhōng jiān。jiāng kuài zi cháng duǎn bù qí de fàng zài zhuō zi shàng bèi rèn wéi shì hěn bù jí lì de，dài biǎo zhe sǐ wáng。
Before having a meal, chopsticks should be placed orderly on the right side of the bowl, and vertically in the middle of the bowl after the meal. Putting chopsticks on the table irregularly is considered very unlucky and represents death.
2、吃飯時，應該請長輩或者客人先下筷子。
chī fàn shí，yīng gāi qǐng zhǎng bèi huò zhě kè rén xiān xià kuài zi。
When having a meal, you should ask the elder or the guest to use their chopsticks to taste food first.
3、把筷子含在嘴裡，用筷子在菜盤裡不停扒拉，都被認為是缺少家教的表現。
bǎ kuài zi hán zài zuǐ lǐ，yòng kuài zi zài cài pán lǐ bù tíng bā la，dōu bèi rèn wéi shì quē shǎo jiā jiào de biǎo xiàn。
Keeping your chopsticks in your mouth and use it to keep picking food which you like in the plate is considered a sign of lack of family education.
4、不能用筷子敲打碗盤。因為過去只有乞丐才會這樣做。
bù néng yòng kuài zi qiāo dǎ wǎn pán。yīn wèi guò qù zhí yǒu qǐ gài cái huì zhè yàng zuò。
You can't beat bowls and plates with chopsticks.Because only beggars will do that in the past.
5、不能用筷子指著人。這被認為在不停指責別人。
bù néng yòng kuài zi zhǐ zhe rén。zhè bèi rèn wéi zài bù tíng zhǐ zé bié rén。
You can't point at people with chopsticks.This is considered to blame others.
6、不能用筷子插入碗裡的米飯或者麵條中。因為中國祭祀時才這麼做。
bù néng yòng kuài zi chā rù wǎn lǐ de mǐ fàn huò zhě miàn tiáo zhōng。yīn wèi zhōng guó jì sì shí cái zhè me zuò。
Do not insert chopsticks into the rice or noodles in the bowl.That's because we do it at the time of sacrifice in China.
7、夾菜時把湯流到其他菜裡或者桌子上，以及把筷子掉在地上被看做是嚴重失禮的做法。
jiá cài shí bǎ tāng liú dào qí tā cài lǐ huò zhě zhuō zi shàng，yǐ jí bǎ kuài zi diào zài dì shàng bèi kàn zuò shì yán zhòng shī lǐ de zuò fǎ。
It is considered very rude to drop soup into other dishes or on the table, or to drop chopsticks on the floor.
8、不可以用一隻筷子插盤子裡的菜，這被認為是對他人的羞辱。
bù ké yǐ yòng yì zhī kuài zi chā pán zi lǐ de cài，zhè bèi rèn wéi shì duì tā rén de xiū rǔ。
You can't stick a chopstick into the dish, which is considered a humiliation to others.
9、用餐時不可以隨便把筷子交叉放在桌子上，這被認為是對自己和他人的否定。
yòng cān shí bù ké yǐ suí biàn bǎ kuài zi jiāo chā fàng zài zhuō zi shàng，zhè bèi rèn wéi shì duì zì jǐ hé tā rén de fǒu dìng。
You can't cross your chopsticks on the table during the meal, which is considered to deny yourself and others.
