Established was set up in 2007 by Sam O』Donahue and Becky Jones. A full-service boutique agency, Established offers graphic design, branding, art direction and package design, with a track record of creating highly-successful, award-winning global brands for a wide range of clients.
Established designed a special collection of products within the Marc Jacobs Beauty line: Twinkle Pop Eye Stick, Kiss Pop Color Stick and the Smart Wand Tinted Face Stick. With references to crayons and paint sticks, this multi-award winning line sought to invent new and playful ways to put color on your face.
UrloLaunch CampaignEstablished redesigned the packaging of this wine brand for Constellation - Urlo, meaning "Scream" in Italian. Established created the launch campaign for the brand which included graphics, posters, ipad app, shippers and campaign video based around the idea "Make yourself heard!"
Marc Jacobs Daisy DreamPackaging DesignBottle design for Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream. In a fresh and new approach, the iconic daisy was used to make a sort of shawl that is worn by the bottle across it's shoulders.
SvedkaProduct and Graphic DesignIn 2009 Established created the original Svedka packaging. In 2013 Established redesigned Svedka's entire product range. Using a ground breaking approach, we used super saturated colors throughout the range by creating an innovative shrink wrap technique. The strong color perfectly reflects the bold attitude of the Svedka brand, while ensuring that the bottles pop off the shelf. The shrink wrap innovation also allowed Svedka to launch special edition flavors throughout the year or to react to changing market trends quickly and at low cost. In our long-standing relationship with this ground-breaking vodka brand, Established has created a multitude of limited edition bottles and the annual Stars and Stripes edition.
Marc Jacobs Cover(t) StickPackaging DesignReal Industry IncIdentityEstablished designed the identity and website for this large holding company as it changed its name from Signature Holdings to Real Industry Inc.
TykuIdentity / Packaging DesignEstablished was asked to redesign the existing sake packaging, structure and graphics for this sake to reflect a new brand positioning targeting a clean living, urban consumer who values wellness and pursues a balanced lifestyle while still drinking. The product was for a US based consumer but needed to maintain a genuine Japanese look. Balanced river stones were introduced as a witty representation of both the crafted/ balanced blend of the wine and also the 「zen」 positioning and yoga enthusiast target demographic. The typography was set in a Japanese format and the bottle shape was redesigned to keep the iconic triangle shape but softening the feel in the hand. We added a subtle reference to the shape of porcelain sake jars in the neck and cap.
Marc Jacobs BeautyPackaging DesignMarc Jacobs and Sephora asked Established to create a line of shiny, beautiful products that every woman would want to hold in her hand and not put down. Something that was "just lovely." The result is a line of beautiful, fluid shapes in a high shine inky black lacquer finish. The sensual, complex curves of the products and unexpected proportions result in a collection that is both simple and thoroughly modern. Every detail was meticulously considered from the ultra thin frame-around mirrors to the layout of the makeup or an oversized button.
Greenwich St. JewelersIdentity and PackagingEstablished re-invented the identity and packaging for this iconic, independent New York jewelers.
Marc Jacobs Mod NoirPackaging DesignEstablished designed Marc Jacobs' fragrance bottle and secondary packaging: Mod Noir.
Laughing ManPackaging / Identity for Hugh JackmanEstablished was hired to design a brand, identity, packaging, website and retail store for Hugh Jackman's charity, Laughing Man, whose first venture was the sale and distribution of coffee, tea and chocolate.
Marc Jacobs DecadencePackaging DesignEstablished designed the bottle and secondary packaging for Marc Jacobs』 fragrance 「Decadence」. The revolutionary bottle design, in the shape of a handbag, is a nod to Marc Jacobs』 fashion aesthetic in an indulgent and luxurious package. The python skin, gold chain and silk tassel are opulent, sexy and glamorous.
CosmedicineIdentityEstablished re-branded and re-designed every aspect of this line of skincare, from the packaging, graphics and identity to the website.
H&MPackaging DesignEstablished created an entire brand of beauty, skin care, hair care, fragrance and nail polish for retail giant H&M.
Black FleeceFragrance Packaging for Thom BrowneThis fragrance packaging for Brooks Brothers sought to combine the traditional world of fine tailoring with the distinctly forward thinking attitude of Thom Browne’s Black Fleece Collection. Ceramics and references to office stationery of the 1940’s were reinterpreted in a modern way. A zip-strip on the secondary packaging tears off to remove all graphics, revealing a pure white inner box, containing layers of cut-out felt used in suit-making to reflect the heritage of the brand in tailoring. The packaging is 100% recyclable.
The KnightsIdentityIdentity design for this young and disruptive New York based orchestra which is turning the world of classical music on its head. The logo's use of the ampersand represents the group's desire to be inclusive, with an emphasis on collaboration.
Marc Jacobs Beauty NudePackaging DesignEstablished created a special collection of nude lipsticks to compliment the Marc Jacobs cosmetics line.
Svedka Colada and Blended FlavorsPackaging DesignPackaging design for Svedka's range of colada and blended flavors
Calvin Klein RevealPackaging DesignBottle design for Calvin Klein fragrance: Reveal. The bottle is a blend of the strict, minimal, geometric proportions synonymous with the Calvin Klein brand and a femininity expressed through pillow-like curves. The cap has a high polished finish in soft gold, complimenting the warmth of the juice color and cool of the glass.
Ariana GrandePackaging / Launch CampaignFollowing the great success of Ariana Grande's first fragrance launch designed by Established, we designed her second fragrance, "Sweet Like Candy" as well as the launch campaign.
Formula XPackaging DesignEstablished built the nail brand Formula X, sold exclusively at Sephora. Established was responsible for the design of the bottle, the logo and secondary packaging as well as all of the art direction for Sephora's launch. The brand's unprecedentedly high number of colors meant that the bottle was designed almost as a color chip to show off this huge range. The logo and art direction capture the energy and excitement of a night out in the city with subtle references to neon and bright colors coming out of the dark.

Identity / Restaurant DesignIn line with Established's interior design of this New York City restaurant, the concept behind the identity was to reinterpret a traditional Italian graphic in a modern way to combine the soul of Milan with the spirit of New York. The use of gold is a clear nod to the opulence of Milan's glittering scene but the simplicity of the lettering and straight lines of the rectangle logo toned down any extravagance to reflect the sophistication of New York. The gold script of the Bar Milano lettering used above the bar and on some of the restaurant's accessories was hand-drawn in homage to the artisans of Milan.
Ligne RosetPackaging DesignEstablished designed sales and marketing materials for furniture company Ligne Roset.
Svedka Titanium Limited EditionPackaging designFor this limited edition bottle, Established created a pattern which generated a dizzying optical illusion, reflecting the intoxicating effect of the product as well as the fun of the party. By shrink-wrapping this graphic pattern all over the bottle, it popped off the shelf, setting it apart from its competitors over the holiday season in a cheeky and amusing way.
Round Hill MusicIdentity / WebsiteEstablished was hired to design the brand, identity and website for this boutique music rights management company with a high profile catalogue of product, including artists such as The Beatles. Established sought to illustrate the diverse qualities of the company, namely its trustworthiness as a serious financial business and also its emerging reputation an artist-friendly home of management. The layout of the type evokes an old school feel while the use of bright pink masking tape across the logo refers to the tape's use in all aspects of the music industry, from notes on a grand piano to markings on a recording studio's mixing board. We created a library of computer-generated images for the company to use across its business dealings playfully showing the pink tape, giving Round Hill an instantly recognizable brand icon which captures its music industry insider credentials.
