口語：「弱勢群體」用英語怎麼表達？

你打算「表達」一個英語單詞，還是表達英語口語？

the vulnerable，相信很多人一旦被問到「英語的'弱勢群體'怎麼說來著？」時，第一反應就是絞盡腦汁回想起vulnerable這個學過或沒學過的英語單詞：說英語變成了「回憶」生詞。一旦vulnerable這個單詞想不起來，「糟糕，弱勢群體的英語不會說了」！

然後，問vulnerable什麼意思時，腦子裡也只有中文「弱勢群體」。

你真的只能用中文「認識」英語，記憶英語的能力嗎？

protected學過嗎？為什麼非得出現中文「弱勢群體」，而不是英語protected population?

2a. The young(kids,children,persons under age of 18)

2b. The aged

2c. The pregnant women

2d.The physically ill,or challenged(disabled)

2e. The mentally ill,etc.

詞彙量再大一點的，還可以用下面的英語來記vulnerable這個單詞：

1. the cognitively impaired,

2. individuals with disabilities,

3. individuals with mental illness,

4.individuals with substance(藥物) abuse issues.

不要求你把上面的英語統統記住，記住一些，你不僅訓練了自己的英語口語，遇到有人用英語討論vulnerable話題，你也可以開口用英語跟他們「蹭蹭熱度」了，總不至於除了會蹦vulnerable一個單詞就啞口無言了。
