dice指「骰子」。指要有骰子在手，就至少有六分之一的機會能成功。然而，no dice顯然連試一試的機會都沒有，不讓成功有一丁點的機會可以發生。也是指讓人沒有說話空間的完全拒絕，不容置疑。
