01 a slip of the tongue
口誤
slip /slp/
slip的意思是「滑」，通常就是指 腳滑，滑倒之類的，而當它搭配其他詞語，也可以表示某個東西偏離了正確的位置，造成了某種錯誤，就如a slip of the tongue，就可以理解為舌頭打滑，舌頭沒有在它本該在的位置而導致了說話說錯了。這個短語的英文解釋為
a mistake made when what someone says is different from what was meant
指一種所說的與本意不一致的錯誤
例：
I called her new boyfriend by her previous boyfriend's name - it was just a slip of the tongue.
我叫她的新男友時喊成了她前任男友的名字——那只是一個口誤。

02 stumble
泛指一類錯誤，不一定只是「口誤」，也有可能是演奏過程中不小心出現的錯誤。

在講話或演奏音樂時犯錯誤，如重複某事或停頓太久;
犯錯;磕磕巴巴地說，支吾;不順暢地演奏
例：

詩人在朗誦一首詩的過程中念錯了一句，聽眾中有人糾正了他。

04 misspeak
to say something that is not correct, by mistake
講錯話
misspeak和「口誤」還不太一樣，口誤是知道正確的說法，也準備這麼說，但是不小心說錯了，而說錯話則有可能是有意的說了某些話，但是這些話在當下並不是合適的。
例：
The Secretary denied lying, but said that he misspoke.
秘書不承認說謊，而是說自己說錯了。
