People can guess quite successfully what breed of dog a person own just by looking at the owner (see photo), a new study in the UK finds. A group of 70 people were asked to match photos of 41 dog owners to 3 possible breeds - Labrador, poodle or Staffordshire bull terrier. 50-60% of the people matched correctly, 33% higher than expected.

英國一項研究發現，人們能從寵物狗的外形判斷其主人的外在特點，兩者"外表"竟有相似之處(見圖)。研究人員挑選出41隻寵物狗，把它們分為拉布拉多獵犬、獅子狗和斯塔福德狗3組，然後讓70名志願者觀看寵物狗和主人的照片，並給寵物狗和主人做配對判斷。結果，50-60%的志願者都能答對，比預計的高出33%。
