五一假期遊，出去旅遊的小夥伴對「人山人海」肯定不陌生，「摩肩接踵」也是常有之事，但看著攢動的人群，慨嘆一下人流盛況，你是不是脫口而出People mountain, people sea？

今天小編就來給大家普及「人山人海」的地道英文表達，還不快拿出小本本做筆記~~
1. a huge crowd of people該表述雖然平直，但很精準。
a crowd of 是一個固定搭配，表示「一大群的」，後面通常跟「人」，比如：a crowd of + people（人）/visitors（遊客）/passengers（旅客）/fans（粉絲）；我們也可以用複數形態的crowds of來等同於 a crowd of
另外，crowd前可以加一些形容詞，來提升「人多」的程度，比如big, huge, large等（a huge crowd of; huge crowds of）
最後補充一點，crowd可以轉化為形容詞crowded，或者「overcrowded」，用來形容一個地方特別「擁擠」，比如：a windswept, overcrowded, unattractive beach（一個刮著大風，擁擠不堪，缺乏吸引力的海灘）
2 . a sea of people/ faces人山人海
一般，說話者通常要在臺上或高處，才有「人海」的感覺。
例句：
There's always a sea of people everywhere during the Spring Festival travel rush.
春運時節，不論在哪都是人山人海。
3. be all packed
pack是動詞，表示「擠、塞」，比如「My bag is packed with a lot of stuff." 表示「我的包被塞得滿噹噹的」，其實是用被動的手法表達「很滿、很擠」。
那麼，某個地方「人山人海」，就可以說是「某個地方擠滿了人」，英文表達就可以是「… is packed with so many people.」或者「… is all packed.」
另外，還有一個俗語：be packed like sardines in a tin，直譯過來是「擠得像沙丁魚罐頭」，也是表示「很擠」的意思。
4. There is hardly breathing space.
「連呼吸的地方都沒有了。」這是上述短語的字面意思。
舉個例子：The train was so crowded that there was hardly breathing space.（火車裡太擁擠了，連呼吸的地方都沒有了。）或者還可以這樣說：There’s no room for breathing.
