毛毛想表達的是：
只要在工作的時候
全天都會集中精力工作
老闆心目中：
在個別的日子裡，
會集中精力工作
all the day 和 all day 的區別？
all the day=特定一天的全天
例句：
Yesterday was her birthday .she was very happy all the day.
昨天是她生日，她一整天都很開心
all day=全天（常態,不用特指某一天）
例句：
He studies very hard all day.
他(通常)全天都會努力學習.
all day = 整個白天or 24小時？
一般老外理解為非睡覺的時候：
例句：
I' ve been working all day.
(我除了睡覺的時候，都在工作）
如果你想強調為了工作，都沒睡覺，你要說：
例句：
I've been working day and night
我夜以繼日的工作.
錯誤2:
day after day
≠ 一天接一天
=日復一日，形容光陰白白地過去
如果你想丟工作，就這麼和老闆說：
The jobs are nothing - just the same thing, day after day，year after year.
我的工作一點意思也沒有，就是日復一復，年復一年的工作。
如果你想讓老闆認為你態度認真，就這麼說：
I will make progress step by step, inch by inch, day by day!
我會腳踏實地，從一點一滴中每天進步。
