一.1000以上的基數詞的表示法：先從右至左數，每三位數加一個逗號（即以此把數目分為若干段）。第一個逗號前的數為thousand(千），第二個逗號前的數為million（百萬），第三個逗號前的數為billion（十億）。
例如：8,456——eight thousand, four hundred and fifty-six
36,789——thirty-six thousand, seven hundred and eighty-nine
30,345,130——thirty million, three hundred and forty-five thousand,one hundred and thirty
23,456,342,456——twenty-threebillion, four hundred and fifty-six million, three hundred and forty-two thousand, four hundred and fifty-six

二. 大數字表達的注意事項
1.英語中沒有「萬」這個單位，要表示「萬」的話就要藉助「千」——1萬=10個1千。
例如：1萬——ten thousand 十萬——hundred thousand（百個一千）
（冉老師有話說：具體的大數字表達，在hundred、thousand等單位詞後面不能加s來表示複數，巧妙的記憶方法是先讀一遍，聽一聽後面有沒有s。）
三.hundred/thousand加s的情況(模糊表達的時候要加上s）
例如：成百上千——hundreds of……
成千上萬——tens of thousands of……
