疫情防控是中國政府和人民當前最重要的工作。黨中央、國務院高度重視疫情防控工作，習近平主席多次作出重要指示，成立黨中央應對疫情工作領導小組，全面開展防控工作。中國已經構建以武漢及湖北為重點，從中央到地方，全方位多層次防控體系，各方面工作公開透明，正科學有序推進。中國政府本著高度負責的態度，面對嚴峻複雜的疫情形勢，採取了任何其他國家都難以做到的堅強有力措施，並將更加堅決有力地執行。
中共天津市委、市政府堅決落實黨中央、國務院重大決策部署，全面落實防控措施。1月28日，中共天津市委召開常委擴大會議，李鴻忠書記對防控工作進行了再動員、再部署。請在津外國友人安心、放心、有信心，天津市政府將履行國際義務，及時解決在津外國公民的合理關切，本著負責任態度保障所有在津外國人的安全。萬眾一心，眾志成城。只要堅定信心，同舟共濟、科學防治、精準施策，我們有決心、有信心、有能力打贏這場疫情防控阻擊戰。

The prevention and containment of novel coronavirus is currently the most imperative task challenging the Chinese government and its people. CPC central committee and the state council attach high importance to this task. President Xi Jinping made several key instructions on the comprehensive fight against the outbreak, and called to set up a central working group for containing the epidemic. A multi-faceted prevention and control system at both central and local levels has been put in place with Wuhan city and Hubei province as the key priority. All work is proceeding in an open, transparent and orderly manner. The Chinese government, in the face of stern and complicated epidemic situation and with a responsible attitude, has taken strong and effective measures, and will further enforce all measures with full resolution.
The CPC Tianjin Municipal Committee and municipal government resolutely implemented decisions and deployment made by the CPC Central Committee and the state council, and made all-out efforts to prevent and control the epidemic. A high-level meeting was convened on January 28th, on which Party Secretary Li Hongzhong made further arrangements and deployment on the prevention and control of the outbreak. We would like to reassure foreign friends in Tianjin that the municipal government will fulfill its international obligations and respond to concerns by foreign citizens in Tianjin in a timely manner, and also safeguard the security of all foreign friends in Tianjin with a responsible attitude. We have full confidence and good capability to win the battle against the pneumonia outbreak by relying on concerted efforts, and scientific and targeted measures.
