Wang Haojie, a male nurse from the Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University School of Medicine, chose to make his effort in helping the virus-plagued city. He first got himself recruited into the medical team to Wuhan. As a man around mid-thirties, he enjoys the company of his own family, but will give in his comfort for the course of the nation.
In Wuhan, nursing work is divided into several shifts, on which nursing staff shoulder different duties. The one that impresses Wang is known as 『infection control』 shift. As he recalls, on that shift, he had to clean and disinfect every corner that potentially harbored the virus, which was an exhausting job, especially when wearing the heavy protective suit. Even now, he may still feel terrified at the thought of it because back then, he had to overcome not only the physical hardship but also the fear from inside.
