These are the parts of the Pyramid Complex at Giza that people who make such claims never talk about:
Each of those numbers is an actual tomb designation, and they contained countless pieces of evidence that make it quite clear that this was a massive necropolis of which the Great Pyramids were only the most impressive and visible. And they’re still digging up more tombs — some of which hopefully will be intact. Most of these have writings in them that clearly identify known family members belonging to the 4th, 5th and 6th dynasties.
You』ve almost certainly never heard of these many other tombs, because those who promote asinine theories about the 「TRUE PURPOSE/ORIGIN」 of the Pyramids never talk about them, because it blasts gigantic holes in their pitiful and absurd theories, or equally as likely they』ve never even heard of them.
The Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure form the famous Great Pyramids in the complex. The fact that so few mummies have been found in the complex is because as it turns out, having massive tombs that can be seen for miles is too tempting a target for thousands of years worth of tomb robbers.

「Hmm…but is it TOO subtle?」
There are countless sarcophagus』 found in this complex in varying states of preservation. Some were intact, but with missing mummies. Where are these mummies, then?
Well here’s another thing these conspiracy theory types never talk about: the Egyptians would often spirit away the mummies to more secure locations, as the mummies were to the Egyptians who hadn’t turned toward a life of crime the most valuable things in the tomb.
DB320 is one such cache of mummies, which included the following Pharaohs from the 17th to the 20th Dynasties:
17th Seqenenre Tao
18th Ahmose I
18th Amenhotep I
18th Thutmose I
18th Thutmose II
18th Thutmose III
19th Ramesses I
19th Seti I
19th Ramesses II
20th Ramesses III
20th Ramesses IX
Other caches have been found from earlier periods as well, and it’s likely that if any of the Pharaohs mummies survived, or those of their relatives and valued servants once entombed in this sprawling necropolis, that they』ll turn up in such a cache.
The thing about such conspiracies is that they ironically claim a lack of information or even a cover-up about the Pyramids, and despite their protests to the contrary are in fact that truly ignorant about these monuments to human achievement and ability.

The great pyramid was not a tomb at all. I know that much. What I don’t know is exactly why or how it was constructed.
When building a tomb, there is no need to align the pyramid with true north, place it at the center of mass of the world’s continents, and ensure that the ratio of the perimeter to its height equals 2 x 3.14159 … to within less than 1% error among other things. I’m not suggesting that humans didn''t build the pyramid, I’m suggesting that you don’t need to do this when creating a tomb. Even a VERY large tomb would not need to be constructed with such minor details. There are pyramids built in China and Bosnia with similar design and structure. Were those built to be tombs as well???? Also, people usually have their names inscribed somewhere on the tomb in a very conspicuous way. We don’t see that on the Great pyramid. No bodies found. No body parts found. No relics recovered. Graver robbers? I suppose the grave robbers also took the time to perfectly smooth out all of the walls of the pyramid so as to hide any hieroglyphs that were once there as well. Definitely not a tomb.
So what is it then? Given the précised positioning relative to Earth and the shafts created at specific angles, I think the best idea proposed about what the pyramid is would probably be the idea that is was used to harness energy and transmit it wirelessly through the atmosphere in some manner that we do not understand yet. This is why so many people think Aliens built it. The technology is beyond our current understanding but I do not think aliens constructed the pyramids. I just think our ancestors possessed knowledge that we have lost. I think that as our technology progresses, we will figure out what these pyramids around the Earth were really for.

It may be a circular argument, but the scholars seem to adhere to the tomb theory.

Maybe the pyramids were places of great religious significance and contained or were thought to have contained medicines, panacea’s or Elixirs of life more valuable than gemstones and metals, thereby justifying the massive effort to penetrate them in full view, possibly in the search for eternal youth. There are significant engineering details in the Great Pyramid that have yet to be explained or assigned logical justification, designs far more complex than needed to simply provide large barriers to raiders, The portrayal of the post pyramid builders priests, planning tombs of Kings and Queens to be located in a more secure Valley of the Kings seems convenient but is weak, since it was and is far easier to rob the valley of the Kings than break into the pyramids. The only exception to that was Tutankhamun, who''s underground chamber was not overly sacked possibly because it was camouflaged by the remnants of another adjacent tomb that had been robbed and was simply lost.
Unfortunately it is a fact that the majority of Egyptologists cling to the pyramid burial tomb theory, which unfortunately filters the desire and effort required to find more factual information. It is quite possible and there is some evidence the Pyramids were built by a previous society that was lost many millennia before the great flood and then maybe centuries later were adopted by the Pharaonic civilization that emerged after the flood. Much earlier Nile riverbank position and erosion on the Giza plateau suggest the Pyramids and the Sphinx location more logically match a much earlier period when the nile was directly adjacent to them. Not a popular theory in Egypt because it cuts the connection supporting Pharonic Egypt being the founding great civilisation of all mankind.
Overall, the site at Giza does have a cathedral cluster like feel to it and the surrounding land is crowded with a plethora of remnants of humanity from the ages including graves, architectural masonry, and layers of community remnants. What we need, is to discover some tablets, walls of writing or art or possibly an engineering explanation accounting for the details in one pyramid, that provides the missing lix to support a conclusive finding, rather than a convenient theory.

There is a long list of difficulties with the tomb theory. Here are some of them …
There are still many competing [and strange] ideas about the real purpose of the Giza pyramids … because there is a long list of discrepancies and anomalies with the orthodox 『tomb theory』.
Note upfront – the question addresses the Giza pyramids, of the Old Kingdom. Some much smaller pyramids were built in the Middle Kingdom and later as tombs, and some Pharaohs [notably King Tut] were entombed much later in chambers in the Valley of Kings. But the question remains … what was the purpose of the original pyramids of the Old Kingdom [ca 3000 -2400 BCE]?
According to Establishment Egyptologists the Old Kingdom pyramids of Egypt were tombs of the pharaohs … although none has ever been found. Specifically, the Great Pyramid was built by and for Pharaoh Khufu.
The theory goes that the deceased body was borne down the Nile river on a boat; landed at the 『portal temple』 at the river bank; carried ceremonially up the sloping causeway to the base of the pyramid; prepared, mummified and 『fed』 for the journey in the 『mortuary temple』; carried up the 『stairway to heaven』 [the Grand Gallery] and placed in the 『tomb』 of the King’s chamber … where after three days he rose again in a cloud of ineffable shimmering light to join with the infinite eternal sunlight of his father Ra the Sun God in the heavens.

But there is a long list of difficulties with all that:
1. Egyptian folklore/legend records that the Old Kingdom pyramids were built by 『god-kings』 from before 『the flood』
2. Modern radio-C dating of the GPyr puts it at ca 3000 BCE, about 400 years before the reign of Khufu
3. The Westcar papyrus records that Khufu himself had a lifetime quest to learn the secret number of things in the stone coffer of Thoth, so he could learn how to 『use』 the pyramid.
4. The Sphinx temple stele records that Khufu and Khafre renewed [repaired] the sacred temple [not built it]
5. Petrie’s exploration of late 1800s recorded numerous 1st dynasty artifacts around the base of the G Pyramid… from ca 3000 BCE
6. Artifacts collected included pottery from the pre-dynastic Maadi culture [pre 3000 BCE]
7. If as claimed Khufu built the G Pyr in about 25 years that implies a building rate of about 1 block every 2-4 minutes [even allowing for a reduced number of blocks, offset by addition of the temples, causeway, paving and walls].
That means one block had the be produced every 2-4 minutes, and transported and placed in position.
All the Old Kingdom pyramids were built over about 500 years; but the G Pyr alone represents about 25% of the total volume, and it is the most sophisticated and precise.

11. There is no way into the Great Pyramid. The original doorway is about 15-17m above ground level, up the north side sloping at 51 deg. The 『doorway』 there is a small 1m square trapdoor leading into a narrow downward sloping shaft which does NOT connect with the other internal shafts of the pyramid, and does NOT provide access to the Grand Gallery and King’s chamber.
12. It is often claimed that the Grt Pyr is surrounded by a royal cemetery … of mastabas. But they were explored by Reisner in the 1920s and found to be totally empty, with no trace of any burial function. Reisner found one empty stone box for which he MADE UP a story that it was the sarcophagus of Khufu’s Queen.
13. No trace whatsoever has been found of any body or remnant anywhere inside the Great Pyramid … or any other Old Kingdom pyramid. Contrariwise, there are at least six known cases where pristine intact undisturbed chambers and /or coffers have been discovered … but they have been completely empty. Logic demands that if empty chambers were 『robbed』, then undisturbed chambers must contain a body. But they don’t.
14. There is simply no physical evidence that the King’s chamber was a tomb. On the contrary, there is physical evidence that it served to enclose a 『great light』 … it was the akhet, the place where the great light arises.
a. The King’s chamber was formed of walls of granite blocks over 1 m thick, with a multi-layer ceiling of massive granite beams weighing 150-200 tonnes each … all under the 『umbrella』 of an over-wide gable above.
b. The inside granite surfaces of the King’s chamber have been vitrified [heat fused], which requires a temperature of over 1000 deg C for several hours.
c. The walls of the King’s chamber have expanded laterally by 1-2 inches [25-50mm]; and the ceiling has raised vertically by about 3 inches [76mm]

15. The King’s chamber was described in the Pyramid texts as the 『Cooking Pot of Horus』 where the King arises like a flame etc
16. Orthodox modern Egyptologists have noted of the strained religious belief in the ascension of the 『son god』 in a cloud of sunlight … that ancient Egyptians believed this transformation was actually physically real. The pyramid was the mer, the instrument that enabled transformation of the 『body』 into light
Of this list of difficulties there are several uncontested points raised by orthodox Egyptology itself … the vitrified and expanded chamber [Petrie], the plainly recorded literal belief of real 『transformation』 [Edwards 1993, Lehner 1998], and the numerous original literature references to the 『akhet』 … the place where the great light of the 『sun』 arises.
According to the Pyramid texts the 『body』 of the King was placed in the chamber called the Cooking Pot of Horus … [where] the king comes into being … by means of great magic. A great flame emerged, sufficient to vitrify and expand the walls of the chamber.
That’s why there are still some strange ideas.
