This movie cannot be defined as a typical science fiction movie, and it’s more like a literary one. All in all, the director wants us to get the essence of life. If you happen to know what your rest life will be like, what attitude will you show towards it?
In the movie, Louis knew that she would have a pretty daughter but finally this lovely girl would die of the cancer, leaving Louis alone.
It has cost a lot on the CGI（電腦特效） and the background music for this movie. So at first,the fear and the anxiety to the aliens when the two main characters entered the UFOs were perfectly performed. It’s common that the human beings may bring hostility to the unknown things, but it finally turns out that the aliens just want to ask human beings for help.
最精彩的科幻片其實是那種脫離了外在元素，故事就沒辦法進行的電影。當然如果還採用經典的體裁，並將其移植到遙遠的未來或深層太空，那就更值得讚賞了，不過真正能夠使人產生共鳴的則是那些人物發展和敘事邏輯緊密關聯的電影。最近興起的燒腦科幻電影詮釋了不同的意義：《地心引力》的故事在任何遠程失控的情況下都可以發生，純粹是一場冒險經歷；《星際穿越》則需要蟲洞、時間擴張和愛的力量才能協調運轉。
