Shapotou Tourist Area, Ningxia
寧夏沙坡頭景區
Shapotou is a national 5A ranked tourist area, a national desert ecological nature reserve, and listed as one of the best leisure tourism destinations by China National Tourism in 2018.
Address: southeast of Tengger Desert, west of Zhongwei, Ningxia Hui autonomous region.
Involving desert, the Yellow River, mountains, and oasis, it has the majesty of northwest and the beauty of Jiangnan(the lower reaches of Yangtze River). It is about 38 kilometers long and 5 kilometers wide, with an altitude of 1300 ~ 1500 meters. It covers 4599.3 hectares, accounting for 3% of Zhongwei city. The main objects that need to be protected in Shapotou are natural desert landscape, natural sandy vegetation, scientific research achievements of sand control, wildlife, ancient Great Wall of Ming dynasty, bell tolling of Shapo, and other cultural landscapes and natural complexes.

Jiuquan Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring Scenic Area
酒泉鳴沙山月牙泉風景區
Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring scenic area is a national 5A ranked tourist attraction, is listed in the "100 wonders of northwest China" list.
Address: The desert 18 km southwest to Dunhuang, Jiuquan , Gansu
The main attractions are Crescent Spring and Mingsha Mountain. Crescent Soring is located in the ring of Mingsha Mountain. Its name comes from its crescent-like shape. Mingsha Mountain is 5 km away from the southern suburb of Dunhuang. Mingsha Mountain is accumulated by quicksand and named for the sound of flowing sand. They are consisted of five colors including red, yellow, green, white and black.

Ningxia Shahu Ecological Tourist Area

Ningxia Shahu Tourist Area is an 5A national tourist area and one of the 35 national ace attractions.
In northwest China, with its unique tourism resources and superior reception conditions, Shahu Ecological Tourist Area has become an ecological tourist area integrating sightseeing, entertainment, sports, summer convalescence, shopping, biological appreciation, and breeding. Famous attractions: Paradise of White Bird , The Silk Road in The Desert.
Address: Xidatan, Pingluo, 56 km northwest of Yinchuan.

1. Shahu Motorboat Driving
The self-drive motorboat is very fast. Driving the motorboat is absolutely more exciting than driving a car. If it is windy and there are waves on the lake (not too big), it will be a good time to go motorboating and surf.
2. Shahu Desert SUV
It looks like an old jeep, but the horsepower is relatively strong. On the rolling dunes, it will be bumpy and exciting, like surfing in the desert. Make sure to scream as you rush down the dunes, thus letting go of all your feelings, which will be even more exciting.
3. Parachuting
It is similar to parachutes, except that they have a rope pulling you along with a high-power yacht.
4. Shahu Seaplane
The seaplane of Shahu can be divieded into two types, the buoy type and pontoon type. Pontoon type is more common, whose fuselage is installed with pontoon. Xiangshawan, Ordos, Inner Mongolia

Xiangshawan tourist area is an national AAAAA tourist area.
Address: East end of Kubuqi Desert, Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China
Xiangshawan tourist area in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, is famous for its "Sing Sand". It is located in the golden triangle of Shaanxi, Shanxi and Inner Mongolia. And it is in the center of the "golden triangle" development zone in Hohhot, Baotou and Ordos.
Famous attractions: Xiangshawan Fusha Holiday Island, Xiangshawan Yilisha Holiday Village, Xiangshawan Yuesha Leisure Island.

Wuhai Jinshawan Tourist Area
烏海金沙灣旅遊區
Jinshawan Ecological Tourism Area is a national 4A tourist area.
Address: 14 kilometers north of Haibo Bay, the sites of Wuhai Municipal Government, east of the Yellow River, west of Zhuozi Mountain, South of grassland hot, North of wuhai city.
With continuous dunes and rare vegetation there, it resembles a coast bay(made up of sand), and is called Jinshawan (golden sand bay) for its golden sand color. The tourist area covers an area of 2,000 hectares. It is closely connected with 110 National Highway and Beijing-Tibet Expressway. Between it and Wuhai Airport, there is only one road.
