1. 原來小鳥也會醉？
Young birds can get drunk on fermented berries.
人類可不是唯一會醉的動物哦！夏天，小鳥吃下發酵的果子，也是醉了。這些果子的酒精含量能趕上一杯高度數的蘋果酒。和現在的小年輕一樣，年幼的鳥兒更有可能放縱自己，最後「喝」得酩酊大醉。要知道醉駕是萬萬使不得的，更別說飛行了。成群的醉鳥經常不知道自己飛進了哪裡，或者乾脆從樹上掉下來。
Humans aren’t the only animals in the world to get drunk. Birds are known to become heavily intoxicated on fermented berries in summer months. These berries can have the same alcohol content of a strong cider.
As with human teenagers, young birds are more likely to binge and can end up getting『berry』 drunk. Flying under the influence is difficult and flocks of drunken birds have been known to fly into things and fall out of trees.

The heaviest flying bird weighs as much as a six-year-old human child.
這種鳥叫大鴇，是世界上能飛起來的最重的鳥，最沉的有21公斤。

Albatross have the lowest 「divorcerate」 of all birds.

A recent study looked at the breeding behavior of 100 bird species that form long-termpartnerships and found that albatross have the lowest 「divorce rates」 of allbirds. They are completely faithful to each other and will return to land every two years to breed with the same partner. Males are known to have affairs withother females, but will always return to their breeding partner.

When a small bird,frog, lizard or dragonfly approaches, it expands its enormous gaping mouth,drawing in the animal. Within a fraction of a second, the massive bill snaps shut with a loud click. The prey is then swallowed whole. Tawny Frog mouths might be the creepiest birds on Earth.

Kiwis are the only birdswith nostrilsat the end of their beaks.
