北京時間1月21日凌晨一點，川普正式就職，發表就職演說。在11月8日美國大選落幕時，我們曾經發過顫抖吧！這是川普宣誓當選美國總統後的100天行動計劃（百日新政），其中川普在競選時提到許多上臺後要落實的計劃，那麼今天這位近來頻用推特外交的總統究竟在就職典禮上說了些什麼？
從目前媒體的報導和歷史經驗來看，就職演講一般都不會太長（20分鐘左右）。而且一般情況下，這一演講更多是務虛的精神鼓舞式演說以團結整個國家（總統也會藉此機會提出一些名言警句，如甘迺迪總統的「不要問你們的國家能為你們做些什麼，而要問你們能為國家做些什麼」之類）、而非具體施政的細節介紹。
此次，川普更是簡潔，僅作了1200詞的演說，大致闡述了自己的執政理念及路線。
宣誓就職演說原文（要點）
With hand raised, trump says: "I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
"People of the world, thank you," Trump begins. "Together we will determine the course of America and the world for many many years to come."
He continues: "We the citizens of America are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and restore its promise for all of our people."
"We are transferring power from Washington DC and giving it back to you, the people," Trump says in a nod to his populist campaign. "Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth."
Trump: "This is your day, this is your celebration, and this, the United States of America, is your country.
"The forgotten men and woman of our country will be forgotten no longer. Everyone is listening to you now.
"What truly matters is not which party controls our government. But whether our country is controlled by the people."
'American carnage'
In a nod to his post-industrial political heartland, Trump talks of shuttered "factories scattered like tombstones" across the country.
"This American carnage stops right here and stops right now!"
'America first'
"We've made other countries rich while the wealth, strength and confidence of our country has dissipated over the horizon. One by one, the factories have left our shores.
"The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and redistributed all across the world.
"From this day forward its going to be only America first, America first!"
'America will start winning again'"I will fight for your with every breath in my body and I will never ever let you down. America will start winning again and winning like never ever before."
'Hire American'
"We will get our people off welfare and back to work. We will follow two simple rules, buy American and hire American.
'Radical Islamic terrorism'"We will unite the civilised world against radical Islamic terrorism, which we will eradicate completely from the face of the earth."
"When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice".
'Always pursue solidarity'"There should be no fear," Trump says before praising the nation's law enforcement and armed forces.
"Most importantly we will be protected by God" he tells the crowd.
"We must think big and dream even bigger. l will no longer accept politicians who are all talk and no action, constantly complaining, but never doing anything abut it."
"The time for empty talk is over, now arrives the hour for action. Do not allow anyone to tell you that it cannot be done."
要點解譯
川普感謝歐巴馬在權力過渡中友好的協助，發誓重建美國，重建希望；要讓美國再度富裕、自豪和偉大。權力將從華盛頓轉移到人民手中，美國人民永遠不會再被忽視，美國被遺忘的人們再也不會被遺忘。
川普表示，美國資助了外國軍隊和企業，幫助其他國家富裕，資金卻從美國流出。美國的中產階級被從自己家中掃地出門；美國遍布墓碑一樣的廢棄工廠，從這一刻開始，這樣的「大屠殺」將終結。

還稱，將從地球上消滅極端伊斯蘭恐怖主義，上帝和美軍將保護美國，保護將帶來偉大、繁榮和強大。
川普誓言將進行經濟和國家安全方面的徹底改革，同時說華盛頓的小團體受益太長時間了，而美國人民卻沒有受益。他說我們必須保護我們的邊界免受其他國家破壞；有關貿易、稅收、移民和對外政策的每一項決定都將致力於促進美國人。
