最近，一個在柬埔寨暹粒賣旅遊紀念品小男孩，更是驚呆了全球網友。
他的語言天賦簡直讓人望塵莫及：會說至少9國語言，而且不只會簡單用語，還能隨意切換，對答如流。
這段視頻是一位來自馬來西亞檳城的女網友Venus Gwc拍攝的。
據該網友介紹，她去柬埔寨暹粒遊完時，在塔普倫寺(Ta Prohm)遇到了這個「語言天才」小男孩。
The video was first posted on Facebook by user @Venus Gwc. In the video, a 10-year-old boy in his barefoot was seen talking to the female tourist in Chinese and trying to ask her to buy some souvenirs.
視頻中，為了向這位女網友賣出紀念品，小男孩大秀語言天賦，表示自己能說10多種語言和方言：普通話、廣東話、日語、韓語、西班牙語、法語、泰語、馬來語、菲律賓語……光說不練假把式，小男孩兒在視頻中還展示了一把不同語言隨意切換~
The boy told the woman confidently that he could speak over 10 languages and dialects, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, Thai, Malay and Filipino, and showed off his linguistic talent by switching back and forth different languages.
看到對方似乎沒有購買的意思，男孩還放出大招：唱起了抖音神曲《我們不一樣》，甚至即興改編了歌詞：「我們在這裡，賣東西給你」！ ……最終打動了這位女網友，成功賣出商品。
Surprisingly, he even sung a popular Chinese song called 「We are different」 and successfully moved the tourist to buy his souvenirs.
當被問到是如何學會這麼多語言時，小男孩表示是跟各國遊客學來的。
When asked about how he picked up so many languages, he said he learned it from other tourists.

11月9日，Venus Gwc在臉書上發布了這段視頻，立刻被瘋狂轉發。

在油管、臉書等國外社交平臺，視頻瀏覽量高達上百萬，並收穫了八萬多個點讚。

上周日，國內網友將視頻在微博上發布後，僅24小時內也被轉發了上萬次，點讚高達三萬之多。
On Sunday, the video was posted on Sina Weibo, China's equivalent to Twitter. Within 24 hours, it had been reposted over 10,000 times, with more than 30,000 "Likes".
微博上，網友紛紛為小男孩的語言天賦點讚。也有網友表示，小男孩是為了生存才不得不學習這門技能。
Many netizens are impressed by the boy's talent, but some are saying that the boy has to develop this skill in order to survive.
也有網友自愧不如：
視頻走紅後，很多媒體也爭相報導了這位「小天才」。在一段採訪視頻裡，男孩說自己今年14歲，在當地一間學校就讀9年級。他還有個11歲的弟弟，也掌握多種語言。
為了討生活，兄弟倆早上讀書，下午就到吳哥窟兜售紀念品。面對鏡頭，「天才」小男孩還表示，長大後想去北京讀書。
看完視頻後，許多網友替他們的生存狀況感到揪心。
有人感嘆：小小年紀就出來謀生，真是讓人既敬佩，又心酸。
不少人為此唏噓不已，當你在他那個年紀的時候，你在幹什麼？看來，生存才是最好的老師。
「Interest is not the ultimate factor that drives someone to pick up a language; it is driven by the pressure to survive,」 commented a user @youshuaigekan on Weibo.
得知視頻走紅後，身為拍攝者的女網友Venus Gwc表示很欣慰：「或許視頻能讓更多人認識到，還有很多孩子每天仍在為生活掙扎。」
「I feel grateful that his video gone viral, it might creates more awareness to people there are kids still struggle to live their life everyday. 」

當視頻在國內外刷屏後，很多網友表示，如果去柬埔寨，一定要去買小男孩的紀念品，好讓他能多賺一點錢，生活少一點辛苦……
不過，事情卻忽然有了轉折。
原來，有網友提出：視頻可能反而會給柬埔寨的貧困孩子們帶來負面影響。尤其是可能會剝奪他們享受基本教育的機會。
Meanwhile, some netizens are seeing the negative impact that the video could possibly bring to the poor kids living in Cambodia, especially in a way that deprives them from receiving a proper education.
「我對這件事感到悲喜交集。因為有人告訴我不要去支持這些孩子賣紀念品，一旦我們創造了購買需求，反而會剝奪他們享受正規教育的機會。因為賣東西來錢更快。」
還有微博網友指出：不應向這些孩子購買商品，不然他們的父母可能更會利用他們賺錢。
"Fangtiii" said, "I was in Cambodia this summer and there are so many children like him. Locals told us not to give them money because that might encourage their parents to continue to let them sell the souvenirs. Better to give them books if you like them."
"The local government does not want us to buy things from the children because that might stop them from receiving their education," another person with ID He Xuexiang said.
針對質疑之聲，也有網友不太同意：

據《中國日報》報導，為了改善教育現狀，柬埔寨政府近年來的確做出了許多努力。據柬埔寨教育部官網數據顯示，柬埔寨輟學率在2008-09學年為8.3%，到2013-14學年時，降低到了5%。
The Cambodian government has actually made many efforts towards improving education in the past few years. According to the official website of their Ministry of Education, the dropout rate in that country decreased from 8.3 percent in School Year 2008-2009 to 5 percent in School Year 2013-2014.
然而，在當地一些景區，兒童逃學甚至輟學的現象或許更為嚴重普遍。成年人通過讓自己的孩子向海外遊客兜售商品，可以更快賺到錢。
However, the phenomenon might be more rampant in tourist regions, where people can make quick money by letting their children sell souvenirs to overseas tourists.

據《中國日報》報導，廣西民族大學東協研究中心研究人員潘豔賢博士在接受記者採訪時表示，自己多次到訪東南亞多國，旅途中的確發現柬埔寨部分景點存在兒童推銷商品、甚至乞討的現象，有時候甚至一窩蜂前來，不買不讓走。
Pan Yanxian, a doctoral researcher in Southeast Asian studies at the Guangxi University for Nationalities, said that during her many travels to various Southeast Asian nations she's more than once met Cambodian children trying to sell souvenirs to tourists. Sometimes they even come in groups and follow the tourist until that person buys something.
21世紀教育研究院副院長熊丙奇表示，社交媒體上大家更加重視兒童權益保護，是一項進步。如果不是柬埔寨小男孩這次成為熱點並引起討論，或許還會有遊客存在獵奇心理，給這些售賣紀念品的小孩金錢，那只會讓他們陷入惡性循環。
Xiong Bingqi, deputy director of the 21st Century Education Research Institute in Shanghai, said the phenomenon might curb a nation's development in the long run. "Tourist regions have advantages over other regions, but if they misuse the advantage by making quick money at the cost of education, their future might be dimmed", he said. "I hope the situation arouses more discussion on social networks."
