近日，剛剛回國的旅美大熊貓貝貝就上演了歸國首秀，回家第一次公開露面的它還有些害羞呢，一直躲在樹後啃食竹筍。
飼養員說接下來會用英語和四川話兩種語言跟貝貝交流，讓它逐漸適應母語。

但是大家最操心的還是，在美國土生土長的貝貝聽不懂中文（四川話） 咋辦？
要知道，2016年回國的「美輪」和「美奐」，面對中國飼養員的中文指令就毫無反應，一定要說「Come here」才會慢悠悠地走來。
雙語教學，飼養員好難！
貝貝出生於2015年，是大熊貓「添添」和「美香」的孩子，家中排行「老三」。根據中美有關大熊貓繁育協議，在美國國家動物園出生的大熊貓要在4歲時返回中國。
此前貝貝的哥哥「泰山」、姐姐「寶寶」，也都回到了中國。
Bei Bei was born at the Smithsonian's National Zoo in US in 2015, and an agreement with China stipulates that all cubs born at the zoo must move to China at age 4, the zoo said on its website. He departed last Tuesday from Washington Dulles International Airport.
After Bei Bei's departure, his father Tian Tian and his mother Mei Xiang are the only giant pandas left in the Smithsonian's National Zoo. Bei Bei's brother Tai Shan and sister Bao Bao have already returned to China in 2010 and 2017 respectively.

動物園保護生物學研究院主管史蒂夫•蒙福特表示，貝貝是我們大家庭中的一員。我們的團隊都很關愛他，從他那裡學到了很多東西，和數百萬人一樣喜愛看著他成長。他走了我們很難過，但是令人激動的是他將為全球大熊貓種群做出的貢獻。
"Bei Bei is part of our family," Steve Monfort, John and Adrienne Mars director at the National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute, said in a statement. "Our team has cared for him, learned from him and, along with millions, loved watching him grow. We're sad he's leaving, but excited for the contributions he will make to the global giant panda population."
在一周的活動中，貝貝可謂是大飽口福，每天都有像紅薯、冰蛋糕和蘋果泥等各種美食奉上。
Throughout "Bye Bye, Bei Bei" week, the giant panda got to enjoy a variety of treats including: sweet potatoes, ice cakes and applesauce — among many others.
動物園的遊人們紛紛製作明信片讓貝貝帶回中國，大家還製作了象徵友誼的幸運手環來慶祝環境保護合作，並且在中國駐美大使館舉辦的派對上品嘗了餃子。
Visitors were able to write and design post cards that would be sent with the panda to China, make friendship and luck bracelets to celebrate the conservation collaboration and enjoy dumplings at a party hosted by the Chinese embassy.

有的遊客來動物園看貝貝，從來沒有錯過一次貝貝的生日，並且依然保留著貝貝1歲生日時的紀念T恤。
「This shirt is from Bei Bei’s first birthday,」 said Danniel Warwick, who never missed a birthday. With nearby metro stops closed for planned updates, he caught Metro’s free shuttle bus to the zoo.
還有的遊客從康乃狄克州趕來，他們表示去了好幾個大的動物園都沒有大熊貓，要在貝貝離開前讓女兒們看看，這才是她們喜歡的。
「We』ve been to a couple of big zoos - Bronx, Roger Williams - but they don’t have the giant pandas, and Bei Bei was something the girls really wanted to see,」 said Dan Cocchiola, whose family came from Connecticut to catch Bei Bei before he leaves.
還有新婚夫婦表示，兩人第一次約會就是來的這裡，「是大熊貓讓我們走到了一起」。
The newlywed Kirchners came from Richmond, Va.
「We started coming here when we first started dating, and the pandas really brought us together,」 Betty Kirchner said.
據華盛頓國家動物園方面透露，今年4歲的「貝貝」向來都是遊客的最愛，在離別前的一周裡，平均每天有3000到5000人前來送別。
大熊貓是中國的國寶，也是中國的獨有物種。「滾滾們」曾經多次出國擔任友好使者，也逐漸變成了和平與友誼的象徵。
