柯林頓炮轟川普：從不負責任，整天看電視發推特懟人

8月18日，美國民主黨全國代表大會進入第二天。美國前總統柯林頓在大會上發表講話，猛烈抨擊川普應對疫情不力。

柯林頓將總統競選描述為「世界上最重要的求職面試」，並稱「決定是續籤川普的合同還是聘用其他人」的選擇權在選民手中。柯林頓說，「在這種時刻，（白宮）橢圓形辦公室應該是一個指揮中心。相反的是，它現在是一個風暴中心。只有混亂。」

柯林頓諷刺川普「將工作定義為每天花幾個小時看電視，在社交媒體上吸引人們注意力」。他還稱如果川普連任，美國人都知道他將繼續「責備、霸凌和貶低」。柯林頓呼籲大家為拜登投票，並稱如果拜登當選，將「重建更好的美國」，「選擇十分明確，美國的未來在此一舉」。
