On Friday the 18th a group of years 8 to 11 students and two teachers Ms. Lindy Zhang and John Batchelor journeyed to our sister campus UISZ in Zengcheng for a grueling Model United Nations Conference (The U2NESCO) weekend. With 11 schools competing our students competed hard and one of our students Minerva walked away with a victorious award. The event has moved from strength to strength to strength since the Alumni Chairman Ben Li set it up as a Personal project in year 10 6 years ago and our thanks goes out to the tireless energy of Greg Peebles for continuing this legacy. Our students left on Sunday exhausted but challenged and euphoric with the very long hours they spent creating opening speeches, Proposals and Amendments. Ms. Lindy an experienced veteran of University MUNs guided them throughout their journey.
