This is the most hypocritical aspect of feminism... you do not see these women confronting good looking men that are also looking at them. Women only feel uncomfortable when men stare at them, when the men are 「ugly」 or not attractive. All the men that you say are 「creeps」 are largely unattractive and undesirable. If a handsome man looks, and does a double take, and 「checks you out」 it’s okay, and you feel attractive yourself, because an attractive person is also noticing you. However, when someone you think is unattractive or revolting, the same attention is 「creepy」 or unwanted.
Some women aren’t hypocritical and will also be upset that an attractive or at least a man that is not ugly, give them attention. This is more intellectually honest, but then you have to ask yourself if you’re taking feminism too far. Now men can’t look at you? Since when is it wrong to look and admire someone? There’s a line to be drawn when discussing rape, and then discussing being gawked at. Whether you think it’s appropriate or not, moral, wrong, whatever your stance is, you cannot even begin to compare it to rape or sexual assault. You’re taking it way too far.
As far as the psychology is concerned, it is somewhat relevant and interesting, but just because a man turns his head and notices a woman, does not mean anything other than that man was admiring that woman.
Question is, are you going to hold women to that same standard, if you are to be equal? It doesn’t happen as often, but women check men out, too. I』ve had my ass groped by women, and also said things to me that were sexual. You think women shoudn’t also be held accountable for this also? I didn’t think so. Looking is not illegal.
If you are uncomfortable, confront them if you want, but I’m sorry, if no one has touched you or followed you, then I don’t care how you 「feel」...
