今天我在中國日報網偶遇一篇英語文章，挺實用的，標題是《玩微信的25條社交禮儀，你能做到幾條？》，在此我推薦給所有訂閱「侃英語」公眾號的朋友。
為什麼我覺得這篇文章好？（要看全文的，請一會兒點擊文末閱讀原文）
首先，因為微信目前已成為中國人生活中不可或缺的一部分，我們的社交、工作、生活幾乎都離不開微信，外國人要跟中國人打交道，什麼Facebook、Line、WhatsApp、Instagram統統不管用，只能用微信。
其次，當我們用英文向老外去介紹這款中國「國民級」應用的時候，一些中文裡我們耳熟能詳的詞，很多朋友並不知道用英文如何表達，比如「拉群」、「取關」、「點讚」...這篇文章給了我們非常地道的答案。
因為原文比較長，我精選了10條，下面我就帶著大家分析一下：
1. Don't suddenly add someone new to a private group chat. Ask other members for their consent first.
不要隨便拉新人進私密群，拉之前問一下大家。

「拉人進群」的「拉」可以用add（添加）這一單詞，「群」可以用group chat.
2. Don't share your friends' WeChat accounts with strangers.
不要隨便把朋友的微信給陌生人。
✒️ 侃哥點評：
「把微信給別人」，這裡的「微信」實際上不能只用WeChat，還得再後面加上一個account（帳號）。
3. If you left someone's messages unanswered, don't post anything new on Moments before you answer them.
如果你還有某人的微信消息放著沒回復，不要在回復前發朋友圈。
✒️ 侃哥點評：
「沒回復別人的信息」可以說成leave someone’s messages unanswered（這是一個句型：leave+賓語+賓補，讓某人/事怎樣）；「發朋友圈」可以表達為 post something on Moments（即「在朋友圈上發布一些東西」。）
4. Don't post screenshots of your conversations with others on Moments without blurring out the names and photos of the other people involved.
不要在朋友圈發你和別人的對話截圖，除非先打馬賽克。
✒️ 侃哥點評：
「截圖」就是screenshots（可以這樣記：「向屏幕射擊」）；「給…打上馬賽克」，這裡根本無須使用諸如「mosaic」這樣的詞，用blur out sth.就行了，意思是「使…模糊、虛化…」。
5. Don't send voice messages to someone you're not close to. They may not be able to listen and may not want to.
不是特別親密的話，不要發語音，別人不一定能聽，也不一定想聽。

「發語音」我們可以用send voice messages來表示。
6. Don't give a thumbs-up to posts that someone put up long time ago. It makes people feel like you're investigating them.
不要給別人很久以前的朋友圈點讚，別人會覺得你在調查他。
✒️ 侃哥點評：
「給某人點讚」可以說成 give a thumbs-up to sb. 這裡的thumbs-up是一個可數名詞，即「豎起來的大拇哥」。
7. Don't make voice calls to someone who doesn't know you very well. If you do want to make a call, ask them first if it's convenient to do so. （The same goes for video calls.）
不熟不要打語音電話，打之前要先問問對方是不是方便。（視頻通話也一樣。）
✒️ 侃哥點評：
微信上的「語音通話」和「視頻通話」用英語表達分別為「voice calls」和「video calls」。
8. Don't ask someone, "Are you there?" It's their WeChat account -- of course they are there. If you have something to say, say it.
別發「在嗎」。那是人家的微信，他不在誰在？有正事直接說。
✒️ 侃哥點評：
很多人微信上有事兒找人會先發兩個字「在嗎」，英語很簡單--are you there?
9. If you want to unfollow someone, just unfollow them. It's really childish to tell them that you're about to unfollow them. And chances are high that you are overestimating how much you mean to them by doing so.
要取關就直接取關，特地留言說「取關」很幼稚，而且很可能是在高估自己在對方心裡的重要程度。
✒️ 侃哥點評：
這是在微信公眾號裡的說法了，「取關」就是「取消關注」的簡稱，用英語表達，就是unfollow，很明顯，unfollow是follow（關注）的反義詞，un是一個常見的表「否定」的前綴。同理，「刪除好友」的英文表達是unfriend，是個及物動詞。
10. Don't add your selfies to everything you post. It really makes people want to block your posts.
不要什麼內容都配個自拍，這會讓人很想屏蔽。
✒️ 侃哥點評：
「自拍」用英語說是selfie；在朋友圈「發東西」的「發」，或「推送」用post，是個及物動詞，也可以作為名詞使用，表示「推送的東西」；「屏蔽」可以用block，及物動詞。
