Yesterday, Guangdong issued new guidelines for the resumption of services amid the novel coronavirus pneumonia prevention and control period, requiring that special prevention and control working groups be established at each business unit to implement safety measures and reduce gatherings.
The guidelines stipulate that before the conclusion of Guangdong’s emergency response to COVID-19, beauty salons and barbershops are permitted to open, but that bars, cinemas, KTV venues, internet cafes, large conventions, and other services that bring together large crowds of people should remain temporarily suspended.

In addition, maternal and infant rooms, children’s playgrounds, and indoor entertainment venues at malls should suspend operations, but those that cannot be closed should be disinfected on a regular basis.
