加拿大總理小特魯多說：「傾聽青年的聲音應該成為我們做出決定過程的一部分。」 目前，總理的青年委員會已經在申請和招募中。
因此，國會議員SEAN CASEY提出動議：
希望讓夏洛特敦的青年們一起來參與聯邦政治進程，希望聽到青年的聲音，歡迎在夏洛特敦15歲－19歲的青年孩子申請加入「夏洛特敦青年委員會」， 幫助加拿大政府作出更好的決定。

2. 委員會工作的時間是可以算「義工」小時的。
3. 會有「義工證明」和證書。
4. 當然，還有與眾不同的經歷和經驗，將來申請學校和申請工作都有用的加分經歷啊！

Our Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, has said that 「young voices must be part of our decision making process」 and that’s why I am launching a new initiative to bring youth together from Charlottetown to engage with the federal political process.
I want to hear from youth in the community and I am inviting anyone from the ages of 15-19 to apply to the Charlottetown Youth Council. As a part of the Liberal Government’s commitment to meaningful youth engagement in Canada’s government, we have already received the first wave of applications for the Prime Minister’s Youth Council, and now we are making it easier for young Canadians to have their say closer to home.
The Charlottetown Youth Council is open for application until October 10th and will include youth from different schools, neighborhoods and local associations. Once selected, the council will meet several times through the year to discuss issues that matter to you, your community and your country.
