2015 WTA Tournament Shenzhen Open

The 2015 WTA Tournament is being held in Shenzhen until Jan. 10. With a prize of US$500,000, the Shenzhen Open celebrated its third anniversary in style with a fabulous lineup for the WTA international event at the Shenzhen Longgang Sports Center. Spearheaded by world No. 3 and French Open finalist Simona Halep along with Petra Kvitova, the world No. 4 and Wimbledon champion, the Shenzhen Open also includes Wimbledon finalist Vera Zvonareva and Peng Shuai, 2014 finalist and 2014 U.S. Open semi-finalist. Zarina Diyas and Donna Vekic will also join.

Time: Jan. 6, 11 a.m.; Jan. 7-9, noon; Jan. 10, 1 p.m.

Tickets: 50-180 yuan

International Muay Thai Combat

Muay Thai is a combat sport of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This physical and mental discipline, which includes combat on shins, is known as 「the art of eight limbs」 because it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins. It is associated with good physical preparation that makes a full-contact fighter very efficient.
