10月23日在上海奉賢海灣旅遊區300位來淨灘的不塑之客裡面，有一位來自肯亞的朋友Mashaka。下面是他的心得分享。而為他的分享翻譯的則是他的朋友陳道弘。
Thank you to the organizing committee and all the people who made this event possible. It is so good to be amongst people who are mindful about the welfare of our planet. I feel incredibly blessed that I am part of this incredible family of men and women who understand that our lives and the future of the earth depend on the small but significant actions we take every day. The Ripple effects of the work that we are doing here today will not only affect our lives here in Shanghai, China but also those of countless others all over the world. I believe that our children and the children of our children will live in a much cleaner and safer world because of this endeavour. May the spirit of love of the earth spread throughout the whole world.
感謝組織這個活動的委員會，以及讓這個活動能順利承辦的大家。我能與一群那麼關心地球的人在一起感覺真好。我也覺得非常榮幸能成為這個不可思議的家庭的一員，因為這個家庭的成員都明白我們的生活和地球的未來被我們每天這些看似渺小但意義重大的舉動所影響著。我們今天在這裡所做的事，將不單單只改變我們在上海和中國的生活，而也會因蝴蝶效應改變無數個別的國家的人的生活。我相信我們的這一切努力，能為我們的孩子，以及我們孩子的孩子，帶來一個更乾淨安全的環境。願愛惜大地的精神能傳播到世界各地。
