Bazaar Delicacies: roasted sheep, Xinjiang Kebabs, Zhua Fan (Rice Eaten with Hands), nang (a kind of Uygurs' food), Youtazi (Steamed multilayer bread).
Local specialties: carpets, clay pottery, jewelry, folk musical instruments, guavas, almonds, figs, grapes and melons.

Detailed itinerary:
Day 1
Today you will catch the flight to Kashgar (08:55-17:30 Shanghai - Kashgar (KHG) CZ699)
17:30 Group pickup from the airport. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Have a good rest.
Day 2
Kashagar - Taxkorgan (320kms, 6hrs driving)
In the morning have buffet breakfast. your guide and driver will meet you at hotel lobby to start the adventure. Driving on the China and Pakistan highway about 4hrs to enjoy the landscape of Pamirs Plateau, Experience beautiful Karakul Lake where the herds of livestock around the lakeside are reflected inlake Kirghiz herdsmen usually settle down and graze their herds before shuttling you onward to Taxkorgan. The following day will be spent exploringthe stunning landscape surrounding the highway, and we will drive to Taxkrogan County for overnight stay.
Day 3
Taxkorgan - Kashgar
Today we will driveback to Kashgar, on the way, you will visit the StoneFortress. The city is oval in shape and the city walls were built with sun-dried bricks on stone foundation. It is 1285 metres in circumference outside. Over the past few years, new wooden pathways have beenconstructed to allow tourist to walk these beautiful grasslands, known asthe Golden Grasslands. From here you can get even better photos ofthe Stone Fortress. Walking around the pastureland to see Local Tajiks customs.

Day 4
Kashgar- Urumqi
Today meet your guide and driver at thehotel lobby, then we will do full day Kashgar city excursion. We will visit the Idigar Mosque, the largest Mosque in China and the most sacred mosquefor the locals to practise their Islamic activities. around 10:30 we have tovisit the Old Town when the open ceremony ready to greeting all the tourists with the culture show, further exploration to the special culture andexperience the lifestyle with the arrangements of the visiting to the localUighur Family. Lunch arranged in the local Restaurant. We will pay a visit tothe famous Sunday bazaar that is combined two section. The covered bazaar sells the clothing, nuts, householdgoods and many things out of your imagination. The outdoor Animal Bazaar is thefirst bazaar we visit, where the farmers and buyers arriving by donkey cart, truck, bicycle, horseback, motorbike or on foot, with their animals. It's loud, lively and cheerful as they arrive. It is quite interesting to witness theirtypical methods of bargain. Kashgar citytour ends with the wandering to the bustling Handicraft street, dazzling jewelry, primitive pottery,unique musical instrument, daily resources of thelocals.
After visiting, say goodbye to Kashgar where you must have amazing experience and you will be transferred to the airport and catch the flight to Urumqi, the capital city of Xinjiang.
Day 5
Urumqi-Turpan(200kms, 3hrs driving)
Start the trip offwith the 2-3hours driving to Turpan, passing by the wind power station which isthe largest one in Asia spreading at the foot of Tianshan Mountain. Following glimpse of Salt Lake in Dabancheng. We'll be amazed by the histroical sites andoasis land of Turpan. A must and first visit is the oldest Uighur village Tuyoq Village located in the very center of Flaming Mountain Canyon. It used tobe the holy site of Buddhism and Islam. The village consists of four parts: Canyon scenery, Thousand Buddha Caves, Maza tomb and the old buildings of the ancient village. Then drive to enjoythe scenery of Jiaohe Ruins with a history of 2,300 years lies betweentwo rivers on a loess plateau a top a cliff of over 30m. It is one of the best preserved ruins of its ancient era in China, it was included in the WorldHeritage List. After the visiting, drive back to Urumqi for overnight stay.
Day 6
Turpan-Urumqi
Morningdepart from the hotel, we will head to the Karez Well, which is specialkind of irrigation system, here you can not only visit this ancient irrigationsystem, but also get rid of the heat of summer. Then explore the Sugong Minaret, the largest Islamic minaret in China built in 1778.
Travel back to Urumqi in the afternoon which is about the other 1.5hrs,After then, visit the Xinjiang International Bazaar, the largest bazaar in Urumqi. You'll find a bustling market filled with fruit, clothing,crafts, knives, carpets and almost anything that you can imagine.

Day 7
Urumqi- Heavenly Lake (120kms, 1.5hrs driving)
Todayyou will enjoy the tour of the picturesque Heavenly Lake (approximately1.5hrs), 2000m up in the Tianshan mountain range. which is surrounded by thesnow mountains, blooming wildflowers, evergreen pine trees. 40-minute sceniic shuttle bus ride that twists though the dramatic mountains. Optional: boating cruise to take the incredible view of Tianshan Mountain. Trekking along the lake in the fresh air.
We will drive back to Urumqi in the late afternoon, then you will be transferred to the airport and back to your destination. Wish you a pleasant journey home!
