Highlights of the concert include:
Ms. Tulu İÇÖZÜ AYKAN, a well-known mezzo-soprano, and spouse of the Consul General of Turkey in Guangzhou, will perform two Italian songs, namely "Pieta Signore", "Anderò, Volerò, Griderò," and one Turkish song, titled "Sarızeybek".
Dr. Wang Cong from the Xinghai Conservatory of Music will bring two jazz songs, namely "L-O-V-E" and "I Love You China". Wang is an expert in Lingnan-style music and the 2020 Guangzhou Cultural Exchange Representative.
Mahmoud Ali Ahmed AL-Azab from Yemen, a medical expert of the Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center, will share his story of how he experienced the outbreak of COVID-19 in Guangzhou.
Okuda Satoshi, Chief of the International Relations Section of Fukuoka City Government, will share his stories between Fukuoka and Guangzhou during the pandemic. 42 years ago, Fukuoka and Guangzhou became sister cities. Since then, the two cities have increasingly cooperated in various fields.
