嚇(xià)死(sǐ)寶(bǎo)寶(bao)了(le)
「xia si bao bao le」 Literal meaning: 「xia」means 「terrify」 ; 「si」 means 「death」; 「bao bao」 means baby, but here it means 「I, me」. The whole sentence meaning is 「The baby was scared to death.」 It was said by a Chinese movie star Wang Baoqiang while participating in the 「Running Men 跑(pǎo)男(nán)」 one of the most popular China TV Entertainment programs now. Since then, it has become a cute way of saying 「 I’m so terrified.」
E.g.:假jià期qī後hòu第dì一yī天tiān上shàng班bān就jiù收shōu到dào這zhè麼me多duō郵yóu件jiàn,,嚇xià死sǐ寶bǎo寶bao了le。
