On TV Talent Shows
[00:11.04]Nowadays TV talent shows have become very popular
[00:16.47]and it is not uncommon to see many young people attend these shows.
[00:21.32]TV talent shows, as is the case with many issues,
[00:26.40]have both merits and demerits.
[00:29.39]On the one hand,
[00:31.07]these shows can provide excellent opportunities for the young people
[00:35.91]to express themselves and to perform their talents of singing, dancing,
[00:41.68]and so on.
[00:42.91]On the other hand,
[00:44.27]they may mislead the youth and make them believe
[00:48.27]that they can make a big fortune or become famous overnight,
[00:53.07]ignoring the fact of "No pains, no gains."
[00:56.88]As far as I am concerned,
[00:59.56]TV talent show is like a double-edged sword,
[01:03.21]which can do both good and harm.
[01:06.24]It is extremely important for us to face it properly.
